LOL! That's one version I suppose. You left out the part where Eli was clearly upset he didn't get an invite to said alternate site and started banning posters for months and even years in a few cases for people who didn't happen to agree with everything JJ was blogging about.
If you notice, a lot of those people are back now and as you mention, it's not so crazy nasty. So what's missing? - HawkintheD

Although his skating is supposed to be off the charts, this clip shows Roman Kanserov’s shooting ability. Like Lardis hopefully Kantserov can climb through the ranks and make the NHL.

I’m sure that’s not all you like from seeds. How are you Beave? How are you liking the rebuild so far? |

BM, you are such an asset to this site. Great work here!! ..... IMO makes a StanBow foe look at him a bit differently after looking at some of his moves. When you revisit this 5-6-7 yrs from now I think of all these moves drafting Kaiser and Del Mastro will be among the best of Stan's and KD's. - Mr Ricochet
Yes, if Kaiser, Commesso, Dach and Del Mastro are contributors down the road, Bowman should get credit for obtaining those picks and selecting those players.

Those seeds are now six foot tall and will be eight come Croptober...Come on out I could always use another trim monkey.
Loving the rebuild so far. You should have seen the happy dance I did with the Oliver Moore pick. Just as long as the kid doesn't stay in school for four years.

Does this mean there ends up being a Stanbo Cult with memes 'In His Image' like they did with Tallon? Can we skip that phase, this time? Just putting that out there.

Why on earth are the Hawks doing the prospect showcase against Minnesota again? |

When and if the team becomes contenders again with the Bowman picks being contributors, he likely won't get enough credit for obtaining those players. Just like Mike Smith isn't credited much for drafting Keith, Seabrook and Crawford.

Like Mike Smith, Bowman’s contributions to the Chicago Blackhawks are negligible. |

Isn’t it the last three years in a row or something that the Wild have some goon ECHL level prospect who significantly injured one of our actual prospects? |

In 2019 the Wild injured Dach, Boqvist, and Kurashev in one game.
Last year they injured Colton Dach and Reichel.
Why Davidson would let his prized prospects anywhere near the Minnesota boarders and hacks is completely beyond me. Of note, none of the prospects who’ve injured Blackhawks have played in the pros. Seems they’re just targeting with guys they know mean nothing even if they get banned for life. |

Mike Smith was much better at drafting kids than evaluating NHL talent. His trades were terrible. |

I’m guessing it’s what the prospects will have to go through on their way to, and in the NHL. Can’t bubble wrap these guys. The 2010-16 Blackhawk players were able to play through the real rough stuff without being thrown off their game. The current Leaf players aren’t so adept at playing in the tough areas and can’t/won’t play in the tough areas when the going gets rough. I think part of that is upbringing through the various leagues and levels. What does it tell the new prospects if management pulls them from a tournament because they may get hurt? |

You don’t think NHL teams are going to target Bedard? Best players are always a target for the other teams. Hawks better be team tough and get after people that attempt to run their young studs. Perry and Foligno might not be heavyweights, but they will protect our kids. Like Perry or not, but if Bedard gets ran, he will go after the other teams’ stars as well. A little red-ass has never hurt, that is why I like the Perry signing a lot. |

We’re talking Bedard here! He was already on the ice and completed his first daily workout and it’s only 7:30 am in Vancouver. |

Bedard had better be prepared to play tough. We saw what happened to the Leafs stars against Florida. Marner, Matthews and to a lesser degree, Nylander, had no real interest in competing in the tough areas on the ice. |

Probably spent a couple of hours on the ice this a.m. then inked the contract.
