Bedard had better be prepared to play tough. We saw what happened to the Leafs stars against Florida. Marner, Matthews and to a lesser degree, Nylander, had no real interest in competing in the tough areas on the ice.

I’m sure Bedard will be OK. But knowing some ‘tricks’ won’t hurt. Study clips of Mikita, Fleury and even Denis Savard. Savard never took any poop and he has a mean streak too.

My guess is the kid can take care of himself. Hes built like a tank and is unafraid to go into the corners. I think makita was about his size
