Can say that again. Very much a Canes type of player. Odd.

not even being facetious or sarcastic, but this will be a great case study of a poor analytic player going to a team with great analytics overall and see how much his individual numbers improve

Flyers signCates to 2y, 2.625m AAV contract. Looks like the price on LAF has been set.

I mean you kinda already saw it with DeAngelo and when he was Cane the first time. (2nd time might not happen.) When the he was on the ice the Ranger attacked him.

I bet he doesn’t stay in the lineup. He’s really bad. And he bites people

I honestly can’t think of a single player I’d give him a roster spot over. He’s so bad. So scummy. So dumb.

I guess people care more about Brendan Lemeiux than Noah Cates contract extension and how its going to affect us resigning LAF.

I see the similarities production wise, but because Lafreniere has no leverage, no arbitration rights, and evidently no prayer of an offer sheet, not sure just how much of an effect it will be regarding what we ultimately give Laf

ultimately, the Rangers have about 6.2 mil in cap space

and that's with with 13 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 goalies

they probably need to account for another 775k if they ever need to call Brodzinski or Tyler Nash up

really they need to get K'Andre and Laf signed for not much more than 5.5 mil per year total between the two of them

and the two of them really dont have much of a choice to take it

The worst part is it sounds like he wants to come back lol. And knowing we just can’t makes it suck so much more.

Yeah. That's my problem. Chris Drury and/or the entire oganziations values the wrong kind of player. Because this isn't like:

Veteran leader vs player lacking years or playoff experience
Champion vs non champion
Positional abundance

the good news about K'Andre is that he really has no right to ask for the bridge deal Noah Dobson got, two years 4 million per, because Dobson has had two 40+ point seasons while Miller only one

Miller should be satisfied with getting a slice over the 3 million per Lindgren is getting

Keeping goodrow to lose Tarasenko has very similar vibes to “give trouba the C to justify the $8m AAV”
