He was tasked with playing with Larry and Larry. It's going to be never if he has to drag those two around again - Hank Balling
And for the record, he played really, really well with them. He elevated both of their games.

Should be bumped up the lineup with Quinn out.

Well then, they must be playing him out of position based on your projection. We should probably go tell them. - Slump Buster
What's wrong with balancing out your top 2 lines? Worked pretty well for them. |

It will be better next season, Girgs and Okposo are a year older.

What's wrong with balancing out your top 2 lines? - Lunaion
Again, I am not putting down the player. He is a fine player and I wouldn't mind him on my 2nd or 3rd line. His skating will always be what keeps him on line 2.

Ostlund in 4 years is better than having a Reinhart in the lineup now, obviously.

Tbh I'd rather have Krebs there and give Kulich or Savoie a shot in the top-9

Were half of the players here? Yes. Were they "slotted"? Absofreakinglutely not. We were ready to completely blow up the roster. He picked who he wanted to keep and build around and - to the org's credit - was able to build up the kids to the point where they could slot in to where they are now. This org was a disaster the day that they fired Ralphie. - Slump Buster
They had talent when Disco Dan and Housley were here, they just never finished the puzzle. |

Who said it was? He (understandably) wanted out, so we sent him. I think everyone would have preferred to keep him but it was what it was at the time.

I think Tuch is a star.
I think Thompson is a top 10-15 player in the league - sbroads24
2 more reasons to strive to be a cup contender this year instead trying to limp into the 7th or 8th seed

Thompson got hurt and Tuch still put up a PPG.
Tuch is one of the best 200 foot wingers in the game today.

He is? He doesn't sign for 3x6 if he is a top-line player. Sure, he was a top-line player for us when we sucked and had a guy that carried the line. There were also reports that he was available at the trade deadline. Sure, could he be a top-line player on a middling team? Yeah. Not on a good team. - Slump Buster
Over the past two years on a Presidents trophy team and a team that went to the finals :
64 goals - 38th in the league
149 points - 34th in the league
He’s a bonafide top line winger |

That's it right there, maybe Adams is the right GM and he has done a great job of building the whole organization back up. But he will be No better then the last 3 GM'S we have had if he's not willing to add those puzzle pieces. We have a plethora of talent, and 60% of those talented players we have will never wear a Sabres uniform, we have a pretty young Core as is. |

Yeah I would have liked an Accari (C with faceoff and PK ability) for the 4th line.
