Yes that’s the only time during a season that situation arises, brilliant.

Someone on the Leafs called Tanner Jeannot "(frank)ing irrelevant" during the playoffs and I have to wonder what that guy thinks of Zack MacEwan
- Hank Balling

The Leafs then fired their GM and revamped their roster to address players like Jeannot

They beat the Lightning. Now I guess Reaves and Jeannot can punch each other? Idk

Hockey is more than charts Hank, those role players bring real value to teams.

I'm now getting the sense that this has been a bit and you're engaged in some light trolling. If youre not, the Sabres had their own MacEwen in John Hayden and he was functionally useless

Like your comps, your sense is wrong.

The Sabres have failed for long over a decade addressing this issue and balancing the roster properly, hence all the losing.

These role players provide necessary support to the core of the respective teams - hockey might be trying to change into speed and skill but until they make contact/fighting illegal these guys will be in the league.

You complaining about perceived bad players while championing actual bad players is not going to win you any debates.

I personally wouldn't want John Hayden, Zack MacEwan or Milan Lucic taking up a roster space. If we're talking about functional NHL players who play with an edge then I'm with you

Fuuuck the debate, win hockey games. the logic pushing back on mine is to support players who have only lost while in Buffalo.

The only player I wanted the Sabres to sign was Perry - pointing out the rest of the east has the players you named on their roster doesn't mean I want those specific players, but I would take them over another season of Girgs/Okposo - that torch should've been passed.

If they were to do a major trade with Calgary, what Dman would you want from them if Tanev or Hanifin if they were involved. To me Clifton kinda blocks Tanev unless Johnson is playing LD and Hanifin isn't as good Defensively.
Hanifin Dahlin
Power Clifton
Samuelsson Johnson or maybe

Love it or hate it, you know a much smaller trade to get Vladar is much more likely. Awkward part is they don't need D or UPL.
