Have to give to get and that would make us a lot better. I'm still not sure I don't fight like hell to keep Savoie there though. Rosen or Ostlund should be the bait if we're giving up a 2024 1st before we break into the playoffs. 1st would need to be top5 protected to move either way IMO.

Good list, I think waiting to sign Power is beneficial at the moment, he will be playing 2nd pairing minutes, 2nd pp etc. What the comps for contract for players in that role?

Why is everyone trying to trade savoie? Makes 0 sense.

I think a seasoned GM sells Ostlund or Rosen over Savoie. Don’t think Adams can and Benson could be an upgrade on Savoie

That's fair. It isn't outlandish, so as trades go it's a good one. I just don't know if that's the one to go for necessarily, even though I wouldn't be mad at it either, I just think Matty is going to blow up this year.

I think it's a combo of things, mostly I think he's becoming somewhat redundant with Rosen, Ostlund, Benson and Kulich close to ready. Couple that with the fact he still has a ton of value and it isn't 0 sense. It's just not preferrable to us because we know what he might become.

Simple. What we want to shed and what we need are very far apart. Teams are not going to give us what we need unless we are willing to part with something substantial. We just drafted a very similar player that could be NHL ready on a similar timeline
