Nylander Could Be Part of Sharks Deal For Karlsson
I am not sure if this is just a negotiating ploy by the Leafs to get the Isles to buck up more, but the Leafs interest in Karlsson has Ben strong. So strong in fact that word was a deal was almost completed at the draft. |

Oh puleeez NO. We don not want/need Karlson. We need a knuckle dragger back there. EK would be hurt and not finish a round in the playoffs. He’d be eating Tkachuks punches like Marner was. |

….and I don’t think Tree is playing games with Islanders……is what it is, you can pay our price or you can’t! |

I highly doubt this rumour. Leafs don’t need the one dimensional Karlsson and his 11M salary. They lost because they lack toughness. Not another soft defender. Besides. How would he fit under the cap? |

The offer includes Ben Strong? Too much! |

I dont understand this at all. Nylander wants over $10M/yr so they are moving out $11.5M to bring $10M back (although it wont be until next yr)? Sharks would still need a Dman back. |
