What should we expect from the Canadiens latest acquisition this season?

- Karine Hains

I think a 15-20G/20-25A/40-ish point season would be a success.

Will be interesting to see where he slots in the lineup... don't see him playing with CC/Suzuki, but perhaps Dach.

Lol Barron and Wideman crowded defense

Barron was playing pretty good at the end of the year, I also think is ceiling is higher than Harris

I think he is going to have a good year. I think he pushes past the 33 points he had before. I can see him being used primarily on third line to begin with, with his eventual rise to 2nd (assuming good play)

I agree, Baron's play improved significantly as the season progressed.

But I do not think he will be a better player than Harris.

Barron needs to show some offensive impact(transition+pts), his career NHL depends on it.

21yrs old, turning 22 mid november, this is the year he needs to take a step forward IMO. The pandemic had an impact on many players his age, they didn't play as much as they should have.

yeah, but dmen often take more time. not rare to see them reach their peak at 25. even later sometimes. Barron reminds of Petry a bit.

disagree, Harris is the type of guy that does everything well, but doesnt have a single outstanding quality.

+ lack of size

oh well, time will tell !

21yrs for a defenseman is nothing.

It take years to develop a defenseman. More than a forward

Some people need to chill a little

Trudeau was a bit if surprise last year with Laval, showed a lot of progress. 4th round draft pick from 2020 but he is a lefty, that side is loaded with prospects

He's a good hockey player but he doesn't really have one thing he's great at. I feel like he's a guy that will play most of his career in europe

a lot of things can change

not all of them will make it to the NHL and some may stay on the 3rd pair

When mtl drafted Price in 2005, people claimed they already had Theodore...

Romanov was trade, not a lot of people saw that one coming (in fact each time I mentionned his name in here people would get mad at me...and now its seen as a great trade. Go figure).
