Tarasenko update
Panthers have had interest for a while, but the Penguins, Sens and Leafs are also poking around. This should be resolved this week I am told.

I do not think Leafs were "poking" around here. Sorry EK - THE EVIL WITHIN

Track and field!!
Where you could hold a pencil between your fingers and tap one end and it would rock back and forth hitting both buttons in perfect time. Greatest video game cheat ever! - Aetherial
On the Apple IIC version, if you stuck your pole waaaay too early on pole vault, you could go under the bar and land on the mat - successful jump. |

I remember that one! Driving games are great for the fun of drinking and driving without the horrible consequences. Drunk and on drugs Mario Kart is awesome. - Zezel
It was the Super Sprint game with the 3 steering wheels that my friend and I were unbeatable at. We'd pop in a single quarter each, and play for hours with all the suckers who wanted to try and beat us using the third wheel. Only time we lost was when we got bored.
Just goes to show, LSD is a remarkable performance enhancing drug when it comes to driving games,
And there were no video game drug tests in the 90's.

He’s definitely the best.
I don’t see how it’s even a debate.
Matthews wouldn’t have a rocket without Mitch. |

Pretty sure you're trolling but I'll bite. I'll take the C with 2 Rockets and a Hart. Most goals in the NHL since entering the league. And also led all forwards in blocked shots last year so he's no slouch defensively. He scored 40 as a rookie with Brown and Hyman as linemates. Marner is a great passer but Matthews is scoring regardless of who he's playing with |

Matthews is a close #2.
He’s a C.. he gets more attention because of that. Last years Hart/Rocket/Lindsey year was probably the best year any Leaf has ever had. But imo, Mitch is every bit as valuable. |

That's hilarious. My and my buddy used to do a similar thing with Royal Rumble. Throwing guys out of the ring as soon as their quarter dropped. |

Matthews is probably the best Leaf, though judging across eras is hard. If I was picking a team from the entire Leafs pool, I'd probably draft Matthews, Sundin and Salming. |

this would probably be my list also.
I never watched players like Mahovolich or Keon or Sittler in thier prime. so dont know how they really compare to Sundin/AM
oh also, those 2 years of Dougie were the best 2 seasons iv seen a player. he was so fun to watch |

Yeah, I can't compare those earlier guys. Apparently Turk Broda was sick.
Imagine Matthews and Sundin as your centres, or playing them together. Filthy dirt. Matthews 60 goals in 73 games was absurd to watch.

Adjusting for eras is a hard game. My uncle will fight to the death that Bobby Orr was the best player he ever watched. I can't change his mind and I can't form a proper opinion because I only have highlights/numbers. We have mystery guys like Mike Bossy that have an air of mystique about them (could he have hit 1000 goals without blowing out his knees?) or some of the Soviet players who had small sample sizes. Then you have to bring in longevity and how much guys like Howe or Jagr being able to play competitively until they were 50 years old vs their prime years of dominance etc.
Complex questions. |

Listened to an interview with jagr the other day. Talked about how great Gretzky was but he said Lemieux was the best player.
Could’ve been a little biased because they’re buddies but still hard to argue with. |
