You were a little late with your female dogging about Frost. |

Ersson extended even though he did not need to be. Bonk just signed a 3 year ELC even though there was also no rush to do so. Yet Frost is still unsigned. This should be a concern whether you accept it or not. - jd250
How does Bonk, an 18 year old defenseman, signing a slide rule eligible rookie contract that wont even take effect until he plays in the AHL in 2 seasons have any bearing on the Frost contract? Or a goalie signing a contract for that matter?

Sanheim would not be addition by subtraction. He has been one of the team's best defenseman over the last few years. When the rest of the team's defense core is made up of stiffs like Ristolainen, Walker and Staal. There is no surplus of talented puck moving defenseman on this team. - MJL
Walker hasn’t even played for us yet and he’s a stiff? Why? |

Exactly, all it does is gives the team more control and ability to support the player in their development. He’s a 1st round selection, it’s certainly not unprecedented to sign him now. |

I heard they hired a new chef too, now I’m really concerned ! |

Grant McCagg. A journalist turned scout with a lot of bad takes. My favorite is when he said he’d take Laine over Matthews because”he may score 60 goals someday.”

You’ve been told everyday for how long that it is not a concern ? - ClaudeFather
Yes, Bill has stated he is not concerned. Russ Cohen just today has stated it starting to get concerning. |

Just pointing out the Flyers are taking care of other business, including extending a goalie that they did not need to extend at this time. Yet Frost is still floating out there. I find that interesting. |

When he is one pf the top, this is part of the reason their D sucks.
Have you ever seem Walker play besides when the flyers play the kings? Of course you havent |

Your post doesn't allude in any way to the major injury that Farabee suffered and probably came back too soon from. It takes time to build your strength back up after an injury like that. The comment of his buddy being around to protect him and console him, is silly. - MJL

false narrative - hello it's me 2050
The results would seem to indicate otherwise. He probably should have taken more time to get up to speed physically.

did he come back sooner than Eichel? Later? Same amount of time
Results don't show otherwise. More likely than not your going to struggle out of the gate with no camp. This isnt unexpected. How would he have got up to speed physically? Conditioning stint in the AHL? He was healthy and he played. As he should. |

Considering he had almost zero off season training, which was well documented, he should have not rushed back. This is well documented. Why are we even arguing about it?

Who says he rushed back? I have no problem with his point production (assuming this is what your talking about) seeing what the circumstances were. I am not arguing anything.
Maybe Joel is another of a long line of overate flyer prospects/players

Cliff has never seen him play any extended time. He is a solid 18 minute a dman. Or was before his injury. I expect him to be more like that player now that he played last season. |

Yeah, so solid he’s a career minus player that LA dumped for two flat tires. I hope LA enjoys Hayden Hodgson and Kevin Connauton as much as we did. |

full corky, what a shock.
Why do you think Those 2 were included in the deal.

Walker played 4 years in college and he was really good. His skating is good. That injury set him back. He looked to me that he is fine in transition but needs to develop defensively. He’s a RD but I’ve seen him play his off side without a noticeable drop off.
I see him 3rd pair unless he can improve defensively.

Full Corky. What a shock. How original! Must have it cut and pasted somewhere.
Uhh, it doesn’t matter why they were included. Torts openly criticize Hayden Hodgson as nothing special last year at camp and Connauton has been a career floater for 5 years now. |

agree. Now they will probably try to play him higher at some point. Come the deadline he should be in somewhat demand unless he flat out stinks. |

I wait with bated breath to see if Walker, Staal, and Seeler are used as trade chips at the deadline. |

by the way any thoughts on your hero Ivan being a career minus since walker is one? How about RR at a whopping -176. What is the record for dman? |

Walker will be 100% imo.
The other 2 I will not b shocked in the least if they are not moved. In fact can See Seeler re-up for a cool 1 million per.
