Or maybe he agrees with them. No way right! I’m sure he is just letting the coach determine everything or as least most things that way if it goes bad I was just doing what the coach wanted me to!
Yep that sounds like what’s happening!

It’s posts like the one you replied to that prove we have no idea what’s going on…but most believe what they make up and preach it like gospel

Thank God fantasy camp is over. How is that hockey news? And why on God's green earth would you want to listen Chico Resch and Frank the Animal talk hockey. One played a millennium ago and the other never really ever played hockey.....

Will Frost continue in the top six role with power play time that he played from early December onward last season or does John Tortorella envision returning Frost to a bottom-six role with reduced power play time now that Sean Couturier is slated to return to play?

We all know the answer to this question

Coots and CA will garner top 6 minutes at the Frost's expense

- corduroy

Flyers will trade Frost in favor of old man Coots and vanilla ice Cates. And when that happens you will be able to put that trade up on the shelf right next to Williams and Sharp.

Score pre-season rankings, Flyers 31/32
- ClaudeFather

Why are the Flyers ranked so low with the twin saviors coming back from 2-year hiatus'? It is because, unlike the Flyers, most hockey executives are realists while the Flyers are (day) dreamers. Couturier is 31 with already heavy career minutes and 2 back surgeries. He has not played in 2 years, which, by the way, is NOT advantageous in any way. Same for Atkinson only he is 35.

by the way any thoughts on your hero Ivan being a career minus since walker is one? How about RR at a whopping -176. What is the record for dman?
- hello it's me 2050

Your concern is justified. The Flyers do not rebuild. They just keep retreading. And those three players scream retread...

You honestly believe that Frost is gonna turn into a Sharp or Williams? I'd put some serious scratch down on that bet that he won't come close to either of their careers. Show me the money!

What’s so special about Patrick Sharp and Justin Williams outside of the fact they both were lucky enough to play on really good teams that managed to win a cup? I don’t wanna take anything away from either player. They’re both two of the more balanced two way wingers in recent years but I think luck has also been heavily on Williams and Sharp’s side by landing in a great situation. Neither guy were ever the focus of any offense and I think we as Flyers’ fans overrate them slightly because they were our property and we kind of gave them away.

Bookmarked. Would this be similar to how I was embarrassed when Boston traded for Hayes?

You would also have to produce the comment where I said Frost won't sign a one year deal.

- MJL

They would have traded for Hayes! The timing of when Bergeron and Krejci retired threw the whole thing off. If the Flyers were a bit more patient, they could have got a better deal for Hayes then they got from St. Louis. You heard it from me first, months before the season ended, that Bergeron and Krejci were retiring.

Sanheim would not be addition by subtraction. He has been one of the team's best defenseman over the last few years. When the rest of the team's defense core is made up of stiffs like Ristolainen, Walker and Staal. There is no surplus of talented puck moving defenseman on this team.
- MJL

I personally think Risto is a much better defenseman than Sanheim, but regardless, neither Risto or Sanheim are top pairing defenseman, thus if either is the best defenseman on the team, the team is in trouble. I have asked this before and I will ask again, what does Sanheim do well? He is not a shut down defender. He is not nearly physical enough for his size. He cannot QB a power play. He doesn't put up a ton of points. So how can you justify an 8 year, $50M contract for this stiff?? Sorry, I'll take the cap space over the player any day of the week.

Russ Cohen is your puppet master.
- MJL

Actually not true, I tend to not agree with Russ much because IMO he is typically on the negative side of things. But he does try to be honest and realistic, two things I typically hate. Thus it was interesting that for the first time on any Flyers podcast I have listened to over the summer, there was some concern raised over the Frost situation.

Sanheim is the better player over Ristolainen and its not close. I like the player but not the contract. Sanheim is solid overall on both sides of the puck at 5 on 5. He's never been given legit ice time on the PP

You've referenced Cohen numerous times. It's just more of a pattern of how you are easily manipulated and led by a leash by what you read or listen to. Changes by the day depending on what media you listened to.

why do you think that is? He has had numerous coaches. Yet none want to give him any extended look.

Is it possible they see things practices and games that you do not?
