Just came back from Spain...

Another heat wave with temps around 100

Thank God we have a pool in the backyard and a beach 5mins walking distance!

not if there are no injuries.

in no order

Armia-Evans-RHP
Ylonen

Main reason why Heineman will go to Laval, he does not require waiver (unlike Ylonen), RHP and Slaf are the other 2 that don't.

Dvorak is still hurt, dont think Slaf is 2nd line material yet

Being out west, I watched a ton of hockey from the western clubs, and I think Newhook will be a disappointment for Montreal.

hence why I said "in no order", move some guys around but I still think those guys will be in the line up, Dvo is expected to miss a few games max

we will know more when camp starts in terms of timeline for his return, he had knee surgery in mid march, no need to rush him. They say he might be ready for the start of the season or could miss just a few games

Well, if he misses a few games, he wont be ready to start the season then

they can cut a player once he is back

but yeah, no spots for Heineman or Ylonen on this team

RHP will most likely start on the 4th as well

Unless, injuries

let's wait until camp/preseason, Slaf won't be behind RHP for long IMO, he could make the jump very quickly into the top 6. We should see quick improvement in his game now that he knows how the NHL works.

Slaf is also 5 years younger, not sure you could really say RHP is "ahead" when they're in such different situations in their careers.

you want Slaf to work hard so that he deserves a top spot on the team but you also need to give him the ice time to develop, as opposed to RHP who has most likely already reached his ceiling in terms of development... that's why I wouldn't really compare the two but I get what you're saying.
