I think aside from Ylonen, all the others will (and should) play in the AHL this season. I see Heineman getting a shot, when injuries occur. - stinger67
Let's say Dvorak miss a few games for the sake of it
Caufield-Suzuki-Anderson (would make sense to start the season like this)
Slaf-Dach-Newhook (cause, why not?)
RHP, Monahan, Gallagher (not bad for a third)
mystery player or Pezetta, Evans, Armia
Once Dvorak comes back, Pezeta is your 13th forward and RHP ends up on the 4th for a while

I never found Anderson to be particularely effective with Suzuki and Caufield. The man isn't smart enough to follow the other two when they cycle the puck.
Well our two best defensemen (Guhle and Matheson) missed significant amount of time last season. Both of them being healthy would go a long way.
Edmundson was more a liability than anything else last year but they had to play him. Harris or Xhekaj are already better.
If everyone is healthy and some of them show up improvement over last year, I think that's a very viable d-core.
For instance, I'm hoping to see Barron take the next step. He looked good at the end of last year but needs to show more consistancy.
And there's always the possibility a young player like Mailloux surprises us all. - Scabeh
yeah, it's pretty hard to evaluate the upcoming season by using last year as an example, there's been so many injuries that we've never really had the chance to see what this team could really do when healthy, as both forward and dmen groups were completely decimated.

They were healthy when they began the season with 3 rookies on defense.
Before everyone got injured, they were not great, but competitive.
With a whole year of learning behind them, there's no reason to believe they cannot be as good or better than last autumn.
