Should be interesting thursday. Calgary whalloped them 10-0. They likely wont ice the same group but have to think that defeat lights a fire under them too. Going to be interesting.

Yeah it was a bad and unfortunate hit. It is one he shouldnt have made. Not vicious as he didnt come in full bore and drill him in, more of a crosscheck push, but end result is a bad injury. Considering it sparked 9 penalties and the game went real chippy Id say there should be some serious intensity to future matchups.

I think they had a few PTO players that were released from the Kraken and sent to Coachella camp - so if they make it it would likely be on an AHL only contract.

Nice. Couldnt get the radio feed so just watched the game center refresh myself

Solid game by Gru but man we SUCK at faceoffs. Bellemare is a beast but Wennberg and Gourde could barely win draws. For a team that was 2nd last in FOW% last year man we havent improved much there. Worried it could bite us in the arse

I’ve read that Bellmare is working with the guys after practice, but they could hire a guy like Manny Molhotra as an assistant coach or an advisor or player development or whatever. No salary cap on staff…

Or just have RF get his skates on and attend some practices. Bellemare is a beast though. Two games and he is 21/27. Shore 11/27. Kartye 2/5. Petman was 6/8. Wright 8/27 😖. Beniers 12/18. Gourde 2/11 and Wennberg 4/13 is bad though 😳🤯.

We only beat Buffalo last year and had a team FOW% of 45.8. And Geekie is gone out of our top 5.

Im kind of hoping maybe we could upgrade at C with a trade here and move out Wennberg but dont think it will happen before trade deadline.
