I guess folks on Twitter jumped the gun. What doesn't make sense to me, if it's just for the game tomorrow, why 4 players when you can only have 3 A. |

Cause there's no C
So instead of 3 A + 1 C is 4 A |

Unless they changed it, it's 1C + 2A or 3A. |

Don't some teams have players who alternate wearing an A between home games and road games? |

Oh, of course, they do that. But if it's only for tomorrows game it would be 3 players. |

Dear lord… all this fuss and time over who wears a C or A. Big deal. How does that change the talent on the ice. There will always be someone in the locker room who players will look up to without a stupid letter on the sweater. |

A lot of players will be looking up to their former teamstte, Scott, if he does interviews
Well maybe not Crevier but he projects as a farmhand this season |

For all of you who have interest in 2024 draft prospects, I came across a few articles this morning.
Craig Button, TSN Director of Scouting, offers up his top 32. He opines it's neck and neck between Celebrini and Eiserman for the top pick. He likens Celebrini to Toews and Eiserman to Ovechkin for what's it worth. His #3 pick Ivan Dedimov could be better that Michkov, he says.

Steve Ellis at Daily Faceoff offers up his top 32.

Within Ellis' article there is a highlighted link labeled "350 players to know".
Click on that and you'll get links to two spreadsheets from guys named Josh Tessler and Gabe Foley with details on 350 prospects. |

Wouldn't they all be looking up to Crevier at 6'7 without skates?

I am more curious how many present hawks actually played with Darling.
Did the hawks cut Crevier already?, b/c I wouldn't count any of the The Nine out as new Hawks until their training camp has determined they are nit better that the competition.
Or were you fishing? There are lot of ways all of them can be elevated from Rockford all season, unless they guys like him and Roos (and anyone else) just show they aren't gonna be fixtures

Yeah, of all the players included on revival teams who later became Blackhawks, like Howie Young, Marchment, or Probert, I never felt a left over grudge and was glad and excited to see them apply their expertise with us, but Perry, uh-uh.
There were far more examples no matter who his opponents were, how he was always a cheap shot 'effer who was just a jerk out there.
Not even Tom Wilson (whose on-ice presence deters the opponent even before he can react) has as many continual dirty or after the whistle reactions as Perry.
So I have build up a distaste and dislike for him I probably am not losing b/c he is suddenly a Blackhawk.

Thanks I love seeing these, but usually wait until after Christmas to start comparing my list to theirs.

And here is my first six rounds - I see this one as a draft were you are fishing after about the the slots in the &0's and the class (as of today) drops into a fishing exhibition.
There is a qualitative drop from Celebrini and Eiserman in that the US kid Eisrman is a big gun but still not a sculptured on ice thinker or strategist, and is so you with emotions and more to learn. The shot is real, but his doesn't come like Bedsys or with a human that is close to Bedard's on and off the ice savvy to handle a quick throw in.
I love reading Button's predictions even when E Sale is around in 2023 for Seattle at slot #20 after Craig had him top three

The only cut I have seen was Juri Felcman getting sent back to Europe. There are two away pre-season games coming up Saturday and Sunday. I expect a lot of the B teamers to play in these games. So Crevier et al will get some game time in. There will probably be a number of cuts occurring Monday or Tuesday. |

I’m among the very small minority that feel that Perry will change opinions from haters to fans after we get to see him play 10 to 20 games wearing the indianhead. |

I’m fine with Perry. Hated him on the Ducks, but that was 8 years ago and he has morphed his game into a very effective bottom six forward. His possession numbers are outstanding, especially for someone with declining foot speed. Existing hawks could learn a lot from him on how to win and maintain puck possession. |

Isaak Phillips birthday. They should have put him in the lineup. |
