Sorry. Attard won’t shut anyone up. I saw him enough at WM to know he’ll never learn to play defense. - Minnyhock
What I've seen of Attard. Real good puck skills and offensive moxie. Atrocious away from the puck. Hopefully he has improved.

Fantasy land. Agreed the other guys have time to go. Provy and JVR certainly reached expectations. Just because you’re a #2 pick doesn’t mean you’re gonna to be an elite star. Just look at the list from the last ten years, there’s a ton of guys like him or worse. And at the draft it was well known there was a huge drop off after Kane - ClaudeFather
You seem to be confused on the difference between expectations. Which is thought before the player's career plays out and what actually happens in a players career. That the first overall pick, Kane, was a higher grade prospect. Also doesn't change expectations. Both Provorov and JVR fell short of expectations. Craig Button labeled Provorov the most complete defenseman in the draft. He was projected to be a #1 NHL defenseman. |

It’s 100% a fact. Please someone post the trade thread - ClaudeFather
You are confused again. Not realizing the difference between thinking that there is a possibility that a change of scenery and going to a team that has been very successful in developing defenseman could help him find his game, and saying he's going to be "fixed".

And Provorov is a very complete Dman that’s right outside of the #1 Dman ranks. He was a by default #1. You’re arguing nonsense here, both of those players achieved expectations. It’s not as cut and dry as you like to pretend, first round doesn’t automatically mean the player needs to be an all star. There is a wide range of outcomes and both players came pretty damn close to what was their “ceiling” |

So people did post that Nashville was going to fix him. Thanks for admitting it. A change of scenery is what Provorov is going through, Myers was a project that failed. Tippett, change of scenery |

He'll be there for the HOF game on the 26th and his induction on the 27th. He'll miss a flight out west and one game. Has permission from the Blue Jackets, as the commitment was already made before he was hired. - bmeltzer

Flyers took Garret Klotz instead of
Evgeny Dadonov
Alexander Killorn
Alec Martinez
Jamie Benn
Jake Muzzin
Carl Hagelin
Nick Bonino
Justin Braun
We even took Maroon in that draft and gave him away

Maroon wanted out.

I remember some posting that they believed Nashville COULD fix him. Considering their history with developing strong big defensemen it wasnt outside the realm of possibility.
Same goes for Tampa.
But by all means, keep up with the Richard swinging contest that you three seem to be obsessed with. Its getting pathetic.

Pay attention to something you supposedly said 3 years ago? I said in detail why I don’t believe you. This sort of response isn’t helping your case. - SuperSchennBros
Lmao. What are you talking about? Go back and watch the isles play. They and Boston were the first two teams to pick up on it. The next year after the Covid playoffs he was exposed consistently.
Also could care less if you don’t believe me. And don’t feel like wasting my time paging through blogs from 3-4 years ago. Saw it in the playoffs. Then the discussions started. And by all means. Used to have high hopes for him. But that fizzled quick. I see your idol is rubbing off on you lmao. |

I don’t have go back and watch it. We beat Boston 4-1 in the round Robin.
You’re trying to convince me after a good rookie 50 game season, because Myers was supposedly “exposed” in the only playoffs he’s ever apart of, that was it for you? You knew he was gonna be bad. Myers basically kept Ghost out of the line up and was relied upon heavily next to Sanheim on the second pair all through out that 2020 run.
I just don’t believe you. |

That's simply false. The Flyers had a stacked #1 PP unit for most of Couturier's early career with Giroux/Vroacek/Simmonds/Schenn. Couturier's PP time was mop up duty with late minutes on the PP. At 5 on 5, as a 3rd line center, tasked with matching up against a lot of top lines. He scored at a high rate at 5 on 5 based on minutes and deployment. His 5 on 5 scoring rate was 2nd line level. The signs were there the entire time that if deployed differently. He could produce more points. Which turned out to be correct. - MJL
Is this how you communicated with your staff as CEO, or did life beat you down so much at a later point that you lost all sense of tact?

Complete defenseman are not right outside of the #1 defenseman ranks. Complete defenseman are #1 NHL defenseman. The reason why Provorov is not currently at the #1 defenseman level, is because there are holes in his game. Specifically with Provorov, it's with his transition ability with ending plays and moving the puck out in transition. If a player has holes in his game, which Provorov does, then he couldn't possibly be a very complete player. Victor Hedman is a very complete player as a defenseman.
As far as your other comments are concerned. It seems as though you have a reading comprehension issue. I have not stated in any way that first round means the player needs to be an all star. What are you talking about?
What I have said is that Provorov, selected 7th overall and JVR selected 2nd overall, have not met the expectations that each player had when they were drafted.
The only one here talking nonsense is you. Which is just more continued nonsense from yesterday. Where it was proven that you wrong on pretty much everything, bub

Even after it is explained to you. You still can't comprehend the difference between "could" and "would". When a player is traded, regardless of how good the player is then or in the future. It is a change of scenery. Your statement is ridiculous.

maroon was causing problems and had his own issues. He was sat down and talked to a few times by Holmgren. He didn't take the advice and had to be moved.

First of all, you're obviously unaware of why I made the comment that I was a CEO. I'll give you a pass on that. If I was actually a CEO, yes, laying out the facts and the reality of a subject matter, is how I would communicate.

Wow, with that lineup and the Isles probably icing a respectable lineup at home I'm expecting another curb stomping!! Let the whining commence. Attard is NOT an NHL defenseman and probably never will be. So 5 guys were cut. Here's a hint, if you are cut by this sad sack team this early in the game your NHL chances are basically nil. Thanks! |
