Completely useless in clutch bats. - Fakepartofme
How can someone who was once one of the greatest hitting prospects ever look so completely inept so often. |

Holy hell 14-5 in shots. Jeeeez. Good period for Jones though. Really kinda thinking send Woll down and keep him as backup to Sammy. Still not bad coming out of that 1-0. |

You’ll lose Woll for sure if you do that. Slightly less chance of losing Jones. |

Id say its the other way around. Jones had the experience, can step into the starter role if he has too, and is cheap on the contract. Big part of why Seattle did what they did last year. Woll is younger but far less experienced and not sure he gets nearly as much attention on waivers for a team needing a goalie like Tampa. |

If Woll has to go through waivers, there's zero chance he's sent down.
This being said, Jones looked good in that first period, Habs dominated 14-5 in shots and are still losing.

I think there’s a good chance that either one might be lost. I see Jones as being less likely (he didn’t get signed for a few weeks after hitting free agency) and the guy the Leafs would mind losing less. I think they have fairly high hopes for Woll |

I must say, Knies is looking good for Toronto.
Probably the only standout for them in that game so far. With Jones of course. |

For me it just comes down to if Sammy goes down is Woll a starter to carry the team? Im not sold on that and think he tops out as a backup. Jones is just the more experienced and safer play as a backup who you know can start and run a spell if need be.
Going to be jnteresting to see what they decide to do |

Nope, trade Jones or Woll. Don't lose value.
Loving Knies/Minten...poop, even on the PK.
If Keefe was fun he would roll out Knies, Minten, Cowan for the 3rd period as the #1 line. |

Totally fair point.
I think there has to be a trade out there for a goalie as pre-season wraps up.
If the Leafs could package Woll/Jones with Robertson...who isn't making the big club this year yet again and not because he sucks...maybe they can find a Dman who actually hits a forward once and a while.
Tired of watching our D ride a guy along the boards only to see him score two seconds later on the same shift.

Woll will definitely get alot of attention on waivers.
We dont want tampa picking him up. |
