Leafs have a good team, would rather give him some rope in hopes of helping him along to becoming a cheap effective player for the leafs for a few years than plugging in a replacement level Gambrell in.
Robertson or Gambrell, won't change where the leafs are at the end of the year. - Santo_44

I don't know what's with the Robertson hate.

I agree completely.
If it was up to me, I run Robertson until he gives me a reason not to.
And for my money, he's played very well so far. Just hasn't finished as much as he'd like.

Not an NHL scorer and that’s what here’s for…he also comes from downtown born ready for you…and he’s a former Pete’s player but still don’t think he translates the skill to this level - Big23Questions
I think all he needs is to be healthy and given an actual chance.

Robertson did not get drafted for his physical presence, fighting, defensive skill. He was drafted in hopes his scoring would be there at the nhl level. It will not be. He doesn’t muck man. It’s not so much a label as much as it is understanding how the game works and what scouts and organizations look for when digging for prospects.
I hear SJ will be making the playoffs this year so maybe he would like a shot to solidify himself out on the west coast? - Big23Questions

Yeah no point in responding to you.
Your lingo does give me some laughs though so I will be reading your comments.

My lingo? Sorry professor - made my cash doing something other than reading man. Kinda has to do with this site right.
I do like the emojis. For sure that’s the way for folks to take a grown man serious - gifs and emojis.
End of the day we all k it you are the smartest guy in the room right. But as it goes with puck you are Top 5 clueless posters on here and it’s not even close. I have no clue what you think you are watching. But at the same time I get it. I watched a documentary on black holes and had no clue eh - it was just a fun thing to watch.
Somehow my maths (2+2=Jello) came to:
82,097,283 + minimum for Gregor
Ah well.
What did you get? How about a flip of Laffy for Holmberg? Mayhaps that works? If Klingberg doesn’t start the season and Timmins out as well it should be good for at the start no? - Big23Questions

In the nhl? He’s not really played. He’s a skill guy. - Big23Questions
You talked about when drafted in your post, so that's what I'm referring to. Besides, he's only played 31 games in the NHL, and most have been on the 4th line where he doesn't belong.
When playing where he should be playing, this happens-
Last man back on a 2 on 1, steals the puck, heads up ice and scores.
Sorry I am too busy taping my ankles to give a well thought response - Santo_44
Why bother bud - Bauer sells recreation skates where you just clip em on. Perfect for folks who never played but still want to skate around a bit. Don’t tape the ankles - waste of time.

I already use the skate walkers so I don't need the recreational skates

Ya man it was a good shift for sure. - Big23Questions
For sure. Especially since the Leafs are complete dogpoop in OT for whatever reason.
He got hurt not long after that, from a cheap shot. I would've loved to see him build off of that and where he could be. Instead, he missed the rest of the season. I think that's part of the reason some don't like him.

Step one is admitting you know nothing about the game nor are you able to play. You post sarcastically but it’s to hide the pain you can’t skate know nothing of the game.
Anyhoo man - just remember that the puck is the black this the players are snaking around…it’s goals not runs also
