Yup, cap wise, they’re in good shape long term, especially when you figure they won’t be good before 26-27 at the earliest.

By July of 26, all of the following are off the books:
Peterson
The money retained on Hayes
Atkinson
Nic D
DeAngelo’s buyout

And
Risto will only have one year left on his deal
Farabee will only have 2 years left
Ellis will have only one year left and the actual salary is 1.75 less than the cap hit so, if needed, they might be able to pay someone to take that last year.

The key is to not sign any high priced free agents to any multi year deals between now and 7/1/26, or better yet, 7/1/27
