I am happy for jets fans. I did not see this coming at all but locking them up and then building out as the cap goes up is great for both sides.

Pretty sure as long as guys are active FA's they can be signed. You've got Josh Bailey, Zach Kassian, Klefbom, Patrick Kane ...

It's actually not that bad

As most would say... the Helly deal is better than Scheif right now. But in a few that could be reversed and goalies age worse than F do.

With the cap going up both could be traded and or bought out without much pain to the Jets ... for the next 3 yrs really solid deals.

Top 3 goalies and guys that can pot 42 goals don't fall off trees.
