He has a lot of songs I like. Thats a classic for me.

I never saw him live and I keep checking for dates in mtl.

I lost somebody to cancer not long ago who was only a few years older than me. That made me think.

If I can catch a few artists I never saw live, that might be a good thing to do in the coming years.

aww, my condolences deadpoulet, I'm sorry for your loss, hope you're doing okay.

and that is perhaps a bit dark but still a good perspective to have, life is short AF (like me) and you never know what'll happen.

let me know if you see any dates for Ben Harper, not sure if he tours very often but I don't even recall hearing his name about a show somewhere near here.

yeah, and I figured you were a Beatles fan.

personally when I say a song is "stuck" in my head it's usually something kinda poopty yet catchy that I can't get rid of lol.

sometimes a song with a good melody or a real catchy hook just plays over and over but i say "joke's on you, head. play it again! i like it!"

he played in Burlington not so long ago, but I dont even have a passport (maybe I should) : https://www.benharper.com/tour/setlists.

No future dates for now. I dont think he came in mtl in a while. Not sure why.

And thanks, I did not really feel like talking about it. I still dont, but its part of life.

not sure why either, artists usually love to play in MTL, it's basically always a good crowd, and every show ends up being great. I mean come on, Burlington for (frank)'s sake... (btw, isn't that in Ontario? no need for a passport there lol).

j'ai vu un hommage à Bérurier Noir récemment aux Foufounes Électriques, c'était cool en criss

That one is in Vermont, but I think there is another Burlington in Ontario.

All the dates I saw were in the states, at least in our area. Like god damn Albany, NY.

if you're implying Allen isn't very good right now he was pretty damn solid last night, that's for sure...

oh, well no need to be sorry, I for one would rather see him stay with the habs to be honest, I don't find a Montembeault/Primeau duo would be such a great idea at the moment.

besides even if his contract was more digestible it isn't like the return would be all that amazing for the habs.

yeah, there seems to be a certain number of fans who sound really fed up with Allen for some reason, but if it's about salary I don't really get it, unless they're contributing directly out of their pockets to pay the guy, the contract has zero impact on them, and the same can be said pretty much for the habs' cap management, it isn't like they were currently in dire need of cap space, so all is good.

meh, its short term

maybe not Tampa unless they can dump some salary before, but a few teams with cap space, might

mtl can retain half of it as well and most likely would

so...

that doesn't sound so horrible, in fact maybe the goalie wasn't even to blame, could be the guys in front of him that just let that one slide away...

Allen played like a beast last night! Ride out that contract…..he’s the best team guy you could have regardless of his contract. And the 2 goalies salaries combined are still reasonable. Neither one will be with the team in 3 years so who gives a poop!?? And (frank) Primeau if he poops the bed again. Enough is enough and time to move on.

All 3 of these goalies are band-aid solutions to get us through the rebuild.

Allen got us those 2 points last night. And that’s what these goalies are going to have to do……steal games behind this young D-core.

I’m just saying that this will be his last chance. Nothing different than anyone else is saying in here. I just worded it unnecessarily harsh lol.

I like Primeau, but if he can’t adapt to the NHL game and play consistently…..then how long are you willing to put the others goalies in the system development on the line holding on for 1 7th round pick to finally emerge??

He’s great for the Rocket. Keep him there and let others pass him by.

yup, and I find a huge portion of the fanbase gets impatient way too quickly about a lot of things, goalies definitely being one of them.

Primeau is 24 years old and doesn't even have 25 NHL games under his belt, I'm not sure why we would label him as a lost cause all of a sudden and give up on his development, which had already been affected by the covid seasons...

unless he gets legitimately outmatched by other goaltending prospects on the depth chart, there's no point in completely dismissing him imho.

Dobes is further down the line and not because of Primeau or anything like that. He needs experience, its his first year as a pro.

They can let Primeau go, but Dobes wont be ready before 3-4 years. And by ready, I mean showing his god damn nose in the NHL.

It takes time for prospects to take off, patience is needed.

The problem with most fans is the lack of said patience.

Primeau has yet to play a game this season and you are already talking about him failing.
