Think they have been playing good since the calgary debacle minus 3rd period of the Devils game.

They definitely had some back puck luck. Seems like that is changing. Our forwards that we thought sucked at defense are actually pretty good when effort is there.

Lots of positives with what we are seeing. We lose a game and people just bash a player or coach or GM.

When i think everyone in the lineup has been playing good minus Okposo,Krebs,Olofsson and maybe clifton. Think clifton just needs some time.

Goalie is the key going forward but with the defense we have been playing i think we should see average goaltending.

Okposo/Krebs/Olo will continue to be net negatives. Krebs is not going to blossom into the next Tage, it's not happening.

As for Clifton, I think the off season hype and the idea of a top 4 position has him playing hero hockey, if he reverts back to depth role style I have no issue with him. If they continue to try to force him into the top 4 it will negatively effect the season.

I also thought there were so many lazy comparisons to Myers and Bogo.

Power and Dahlin will absolutely be the best pair of D men on the same team the league has seen in quite some time

The Power Play structure, if there even is one, is horrendous.

It doesn't show as much on the 1st power play due to the talent of Dahlin, and the talent overall on the first unit.

Too much passing and not enough tage 1 timers
The pp1 only plays a minute or so before they change . I like to see the pp1 unit play 130-140 ish , not 60 seconds

well I have to give credit where credit is due... UPL played like a real NHL goalie yesterday. I still don't think he is the long term solution. I feel you can get a quality start or great 60 mins out of him, then the next 4 games are mediocre at best.

If I was GMKA I will still be looking for a proven starting Goalie at whatever the cost is. I think you can get Sarros out of Nashville but the price will be high. 1st, Benson Savoie, Quinn, Mitts they should all be in play for a goalie

There's not enough Tage one timers because every team knows what the Sabres are trying to do, and the Sabres offer limited movement, in favor of the same umbrella they've tried to employ for a while now.

Seems like most teams just play towards Tage's side and take that one timer away. We need Cozens to start sniping again or to work that other wall better to turn it around. Can't be a one trick Power Pony Play.

Don't think the issues is personal based on either power play.

It's the bad, obvious structure they are attempting to use that is the problem.

I think Jost is a good 4C. I know that isn’t saying much. But I like him there
