Problem with goaltending now is the same as it has been for many years. This team has been a defensive nightmare for a long time and have left many goalies wondering why they wanted to be here.
Top D is weak defensively, top forwards are weaker defensively. Players signed to be defensive stalwarts are weakest defensively.
Trade Dahlin for Bedard and win every game 10 to 9

Can’t predict injuries to 2 of your starting goalies in the 1st 8 games .

Good teams are well prepared and fortunately management was smart enough to carry 3 nhl goalies.

A veteran could just as easily been injured imo

Mitts deserves a contract to match the other core long term guys. Maybe a bit shorter and a bit cheaper hopefully.

This trend of questionable roster moves will continue as long as individual development holds leverage over the GM, with a coach whose glory days was being affiliated with the NTDP.
