No, they have a vicious schedule coming up against some good Offenses and needed help at CB. I am sure Tre is in the back of there minds with those 2 injuries. They needed someone now and would think see how Tre progresses, they can get out of his contract next year with a 10mill dead cap hit.

This will also more easily facilitate the activation Max Pacioretty and Joel Edmundson off LTIR when both players are ready to return.
