how? they basically have 1 or 2 outdoor games per year lol... it just isn't something new anymore, that's it.
- Pat1993

thats more than enough to kill any type of hype around it

f you do it once in a blue moon (10 years period) it can stay fresh

its not special anymore

damn, by your definition it doesn't take much to overdo it then lol.

as I said in my other post it's an event that is mostly to be enjoyed by those who attend. if they did one in MTL there would be a ton of hype for sure.

I think they finally decided to get rid of artificial turfs around the league and have real grass everywhere instead? or maybe it was still under discussion? they definitely have the (frank)ing funds to do it lol.

You'd have to pay me some good money to make me attend such a game in person.

I like the comfort of my warm couch and being close to my fridge for "refreshments" ... and I get the benefit of a better view (and replays) without risking frostbite.

To each their own obviously.

oh for sure. but my point is those outdoor games seem to still be resonating well with fans in general, they don't have any problems selling tickets for those events, hence why I don't think it's "overdone".

with good reason, there are fewer risks of injuries on real grass.

Thanks

5 sittings of 40 minutes since I still can’t sit upright for much longer than that, so about 3 hours and 20 minutes. There’s a pumpkin contest at Jayden’s school, hopefully it’s good enough so he wins something.
