Karine Hains: In Hainsight: There’s No Quit in This Team The Canadiens clawed their way back in last night’s game and finally managed to win it in the shoutout for a fifth win on the season.

Fun game to watch, and plenty of good and bad, which is sorta what we should expect from this group. Armia looks like he doesn't want to go back to Laval. Anderson looks exactly as he always looks, so much talent, so rarely used. The D is the strength of the Habs' talent pool, and it is starting to show. Allen looked solid, unfortunately he is the likely goalie to be traded.....can't keep all three all season....something has to give soon there. Monty and Prime are the future, Allen is the now, I do not see them trading the future. On to Vegas......

they can't keep all three, but I don't think the plan was necessarily to trade one of them either, it looks like the habs are waiting for the most suitable time to send Primeau through waivers and not have him get claimed by another team.

if they're planning on trading a goalie I sure hope they aren't keeping the 3 of them with the habs until the TDL, that would be way too long, and it's already a bit tricky to manage their starts and make sure they all get their fair share of NHL action without getting rusty.

Yea, that plan is out the window.....and it was always a throw of the dice, still is. Sending any of the three to waivers will see a claim almost assuredly. Trade seems the most likely action to solve the issue.....but they can't keep all three, something has to happen.

I'm not so sure about that, it's basically a waiting game, there are other teams that also currently have 3 goalies, and the habs could wait until those teams make a move first... once the teams that were looking to acquire a goalie do get one, then it'll be safer to send Primeau to Laval, without having to worry about him getting claimed.

I understand the strategy, I just think the longer it goes on, the more damage to both Monty and Primeau......the other clubs carrying three only matter if the Habs are committed to this wait strategy. The trade strategy only matters if the return is reasonable..... How long do you think they can keep three? Obviously all year, but what I am asking is when do you view it as forced to act time?

that all depends on how highly they value Primeau as of right now, if the habs have determined he has the potential of becoming a very good NHL goalie and are planning on keeping him, then there aren't as many trading possibilities, as Allen may not generate that much interest because of his contract, and I doubt they'd be looking to trade Monty.

besides the return for Primeau wouldn't be all that interesting if they were to trade him right now, he's surely worth more to the habs than what they would fetch by trading him away.

noice. I don't follow football at all but I am aware that Sunday and 'Murican football go hand in hand, so it must be nice for all those methodically placed bets of yours.

pretty chill Sunday here for me as usual so far, doing some laundry, doing my meal prep for the week and messing around with my guitar is what is on the schedule.

i still look at guitars all the time as if i should be buying these things.

i was a kickbro's apartment where my guitars are right now until i get the condo back and it was nice to see them. i picked the bass up and plucked a few strings.

they were hard games to pick sides on. it does seem like now that burrow's calf or whatever it was is better the bengals might finally be able to get something going.

no no, these are heavy, solidbody electrics. no way to make it look real, and corny always says just because you can do something doesn't mean you should!

Yeah, I'm not sure what Bengals team is going to show up ... but I think the 49ers superior defense will prevail. We shall see.

As for the Rams and Cowboys, both teams are inconsistent ... flip a coin.
