About the scary Halloween decorations....that one that is a witch on a swing that swings in the tree in the wind, that poop is freaky man.

Actually how over the top people go on putting skulls and so on all over their yard is a little disconcerting.

- Zezel

There's a house on our street that puts out about 100 plastic rats.

First time I saw it, I pooped my pants.

For $102 a ticket, you can sit in Sec 315, row STL tonight.

That's the section right behind LA's net - I think it used to be called the Molson Zone or something like that.

You have to stand, but you've got fantastic access to the bar and the bathrooms. And you're at the very bottom of the upper bowl, right behind the opposition net - probably my favourite place in a building to sit.

Damn, if I wasn't expecting 400 kids at my door tonight...

I've got a 4 foot gnome on my balcony. But it's not for Halloween, it's there to stare out on the street and judge the peasants below us.

We can debate back and forth on whether it was deliberate or not, but one thing is for certain: I've never seen anything like that before in any hockey game I've ever played in or watched.

In fact, nothing even close.

- Atomic Wedgie

I havent watched. I am not going to.

The Malarchuk injury is something I will never forget and not in a good way. It was one of the most disturbing things I ever saw, way worse than Joe Theisman even.

I'm tired of dressing up as Wedgie-era characters, and the kids at the door have no franking idea who I am.

I was a Blues Brother last year, and the closest guess was a Man in Black.

We are expecting 300-400 kids tonight. Our street is a madhouse.

WOW. I thought we had it rough at around 150-175.

This may be the best (and hardest to read) sports article I have ever read:

Charlie McAvoy will have a phone hearing with @NHLPlayerSafety today following his interference/illegal check to the head on Oliver Ekman-Larsson, which points to a potential suspension of five games or less.

The NHL: never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity to take player safety seriously.

41 games for an unsigned NHL player for possibly giving gambling advice to someone

5 games or less for a player intentionally head shotting a player.

Its (frank)ed up and the NHL needs to get its priorities straight.

We live on a busy street and get less than 20. By 7 or whenever all the friends with kids we know come by, we just leave the bowls on the porch.

My father-in-law who grew up dirt poor would spend thousands of dollars on treats and gave out huge amounts. Buses would come to his neighborhood just to hit the mother lode.

The Reaves signing is still unfolding for me ...for good or bad.

He's clearly limited ..even a liability at hockey'ing. But (and it's early) this team hasn't had those Leafy moments where we get shoved around after the whistles. It looks like guys are mixing it up after whistles and giving it back a bit. Still watching to see if the big scary goon factor has an impact.

- The Law

Kinda feel the same about it.

Having a terrifying goon isn't a bad thing, as long as he can keep up and isn't a liability.

Ultimately, you want a team culture that has an edge and brotherhood vibe to it. Every guy should be willing to defend his teammate. Tampa has it. They might be douchey about it at times, but almost every guy on that bench will fight you if you call them out or cheap shot somebody.

I don't give a (frank).

Concussion research has proven how serious this issue is.

Health is #1 priority. If they want to suspend someone for being involved in gambling for 41 games fine, but you better suspend McAvoy for the same when its clear as day its intentional.

It is and its disgusting on the NHLs part.

This is a perfect time to take advantage of reducing headshots by throwing the book at McAvoy. It is the worst one we have seen in a while where the intent was obviously there.

He blew out his knee I think.

Just like his son did 10 sec after one his match at Wrestlemania.

So Snoop Dogg saved everyone by coming in from the audience and somehow winning the match despite not being involved in it.

Wrestling is fun sometimes.

I think he blew two muscles in his thighs? Same muscle in each and kept doing his "schtick" from the ground. Stayed in character and the word is the injury is excruciating painful so kudos to him for not being a baby about it.

Being jacked on adrenalin, HGH, steroids, painkillers and shnay probably helps with that.
