I've been saying Nylander is a star literally this entire time.

Who knows long run (if Willy can keep this level up…I say he can) but I said it many moons ago that I personally would move Marner over Nylander…this caused friction with AA (who by the way has full on admitted Willys value now).

1. Marner is more valued in a trade and still has time left contract so team getting him doesn’t need to worry re sign immediately.

2. Willy costs less now and next contract as well.

3. I was saying Boo-Urrns - to any movement clauses.

Flames ripe for the pickin’ eh!

To me players of interest for Buds:

- Zadorov
- Kadri
- Lindholm

Help improve Dcore & 3C hole same time…also the PP gets a boost there too

Kadri seems to have regressed and has a big contract.

I’d say any team losing 3 of their top 7 D men is an achilles heel tbh.

Very nice to see Liljegren on the ice for practice though

I think he’s in the wrong situation personally but he is not the best so far in Calgary I agree. I think he would get back on track if he came back to Toronto - but you never know.

That is good news for the Leafs. McCabe + Lily would be a scary starting 6 to see for sure

Ugh, no to kadri...hasnt played great since winning a cup.
This will be willies best year for sure. But i think he will still hover around the 75-85pt mark for the next several years.

Dont care who gets traded....just win a cup.

Dear Wedgie,

I did not enjoy the snow as I was not truly prepared for it and it was a complete mess finding the snow clothes in a hurry only to realize my son grew too much and he needs a new coat, new pants, new boots.

God dammit we went from summer straight to winter and it's not the way it's supposed to be.

Dog was super happy though.

Feel bad for the kids. Just like every year, we're going to have snow pants Elsa and snow pants Subzero.

So if Leafs have a D problem, how do they fix it without trading Willy or Marner since they have a cap problem too?

Can't do picks/prospects they need to clear out money to bring in a defenseman or two. Not many options but a trade.

Who else besides Willy or Marner makes sense and don't have a NMC?

Unless someone big/$ goes out the D will not be fixed via trade. Hopefully someone from the Marlies finds a lucky clover?!?!

If they can get Kadri in a pack with Zadorov absolutely Kadri man. He’s a tough skilled competitive responsible centre. The situation is Calgary is a weird one. Colorado and Toronto are similar in skill level/types he gets to play with.

His utilization or how dependant they were in him in Calgary was too much too soon. Factor in the Sutter element and just a weird feel in the room from the guys that stayed there after all that change the year he arrived also is a huge deal on the inside. All together a crappy scene for a player to walk into with the pressure of new contract. He is a solid player who hasn’t forgot how to play and is that edgy competitiveness Leafs need more of. Helps solidify down the middle on PP as well.

Willy even if he dips a bit is still a better bang for buck vs Marner to me all day. Save cap and still get that offence and speed and PP presence.

🤣 Kadri?! Leave that headcase in Calgary. Been there, done that, and with that contract? Hell no!

Good news Lily at practice. Getting by so far and managing to avoid a big problem but really only a matter of time. Still think Tree needs to look at a move of some sort.

Being investigated.

Watching the video cant figure why his leg was swung up like that at all, losing balance or no. Looked really odd and messed.

My daughter has a few friends at McGill who have never seen snow before.

They can't believe the weather changed so quickly - apparently they are freaking out, which is providing big laughs for hearty Canadian kids in residence.
