Looking like Carter will be scratched by game 10...unreal. Didnt think Sully would have the nads to do so.

However, was Carter in net or on the PP?...

Realized I missed most of the game against the Ducks... can someone fill me in on how Sid looked that game? Saw he had 11 shots on goal... which is kinda (frank)ing crazy to me. Especially since he looked a bit more pass first this year imo.

Still unsure how Jake had 10 against the Sens... even being there it didn't feel like that many, so maybe its just me.

Both winning and losing alike can skew perceptions...

It’s simple:

1. Replace Sullivan with Big Bruce

2. Long term IR Carter with early onset geriatricism

3. Give Acciari the Reaves treatment and trade him the very season you acquire him.

4. Use the new cap space to get a pair of top 9 forwards and bump the current third line down to the 4th.

5. We give an actual good goalie a polyjuice potion to take over Jarry’s identity.

6. Ryan-O’Reilly-Jagr wow

7. Cup

Didn't think he'd do it either. I guess Sully reluctantly realized team performance is more important than a tired vets vanity. Obviously, a 4th line swap will make little difference. He's going to need to do some real coaching soon.

I like the idea of a Rust and Rak swap.

Tired vets vanity? You guys are seriously delusional over the Carter situation, which makes rooting for him to succeed all that much more fun.

RW should've put a trigger warning in the blog for you because of all the fancy stats.

The 4th line hasn't been one of their bigger problems, and it's certainly not why they're 3-6, but Carter is done. Great career, but time to hang 'em up.

I did read this one. It’s been a few days since there was a game, I needed some Penguins content.

Haha I feel like we've been pushing that Rust Rak swap for a bit now. One guy changed the third line up so why not swap them, and finally a change to the 4th line.

C'mon man... You should know what I was doing. I root for every player who wears the jersey, but that dude was on fumes two years ago.

Any news about Ludvig?... The kid comes out and lays perhaps the biggest hit of the Pens last decade, which was refreshing as F to see, and knocks himself out ffs. I want to see more of him.

Haven't heard anything but yea he's definitely something different that we need on the defense.

Poulin and Pustinnen are NHL busts. Also Hinsostroza’s last nhl campaign was basically the same numbers as Carters season last year. I think they just need a fourth line of scary dudes from the LNAH.

Really sucks for that kid. Works his way to the NHL and gets hurt in game 1. Hopefully we see him again soon.
