This team might challenge the Buffalo Sabres of 2015 for being the most complete tank team of the cap era. They almost never have the puck and their goaltending is awful. They'll probably still beat PIT. |

As a fan since inception, this year is going as expected, for me that is. I don't mind losing games, but the team toughness is sure lacking. Letting your goalies get ran isn't very comforting. The team needs to find an identity and stick to it. The lack of scoring isn't going to help move players for good picks by the Trade Deadline nor will players be interested in joining the team during Free Agency. It looks as if the Quinn Era will be over sooner than expected if the team doesn't find itself a few W's in short order. May have to coax Sutter back to end the season just to get the players to play harder against.
