It might be because of where you live and that your sports reading is only stats sheets and colourful graphs & charts.
Plenty of hockey people' have been picking the Stars as a potential Cup team the past few seasons. - Marwood
How many Canucks home games are you going to this year? |

Just messing with you, Canucks have me cheering for them. So many buddies that have suffered far too long.

Come on Makita. This trash troll needs to spend ALL his time with Johnny Huberdeau and his inbred relatives for at least the next 8 years. Keep him out of this Stanley Cup run thread.

Interesting that NHL data shows that the Canucks play so far is quite a bit more sustainable than public. |

The 2024 NHL Draft looks to be another one loaded with high-end talent and exciting prospects. There are some potential franchise forwards at the top of the draft, but the first round looks to be littered with good defencemen.
Personally not on board with franchise players are in this draft. Not deep for C’s let alone elite maybe some top 6 C’s. Depth in the draft at this early point is the strength & liking it has many D to consider. None to me have yet to be top 2 guarantees but many for top 4 potential. Doesn’t bode well for bottom feeders given the drop off as the draft goes along. Not a good year to suck like the Oil & Flames are but if SJ wins the lotto Celebrini will help as a C. Eiserman a winger isn’t big nor is Demidov & not a fan of wingers picked at the top of draft by rule but teams picking D later on should find good to very good value.
I’m liking Hage or Boisvert as C’s if they fall to us to fill need. BPA if D wouldn’t be bad also. |

Get your poop together! The Draft only interests bottom feeder teams like the Flames and Oilers!
Our club is ready to claim our first Cup! If you love the Draft so much go join Ruby and his Krakheads!!
The baldies are about to deliver us the Cup and you will miss it if you don't refocus!

Are we trading down as in one of my fave ploys?
Just a random quote to use for my narrative. I could still see us trading our 1st for the right piece. Namely RHD |

Speaking too soon just like about the draft. 🤣 Plus this draft is solid. Celebrini and Eiserman would have went 2-3 in the last draft.
Red Wings gaver a go at the end there. Some bad D in Detroit. 😆 |

Always good to hear from you.

Reading about all the drama in Edmonton. I love the fact that the Canucks caused much of the pain felt in Oil country.
And if that was not glorious enough, I get to watch Pouty McPoutyface mope his way through 3rd periods over and over again because of media over-coverage.
It’s been a magical autumn so far. |

I like rojan, every once in awhile he comes in here to troll me, so I play along, while having a little chuckle.
It appears he now has K-man on his troll list.

They are winning right now against one of Lefty's teams. They win this one and beat the coilers... they are tied in the standings.
