I didn't think I needed to since we both watched the game and no one claimed this didnt happen.... I thought. But now I have my doubts you watched it.
Just like I doubt you are going to bother watching the clip... so you don't have to admit you were mistaken - boonerbuck

Of course I watched game & clip but no one but you claimed it did happen. Saw nothing worth a penalty. - Nighthawk
Why I suggested 10min misconduct was for the collection of things he ran around and did... not for the straight arm on Hughes alone. You are focussed on one thing in particular so no wonder you see no penalty there. My point is he's lost it and needs to sit. He did far more than Drai....

Linden just admitted if it was up to Benning he would have probably taken a different player than Pettersson.
Linden said he pushed for Brackett to have the final say in 2017 because he didn't like how 2016 went
On 650 today.
Booner did you call in and argue with Linden on this speculation? |

Linden is admitting he speculated that because of how 2016 went.... " he probably would have" that's exactly how it's posted there.... so speculation is still speculation.
I don't see Linden claiming Benning didn't know who EP was or made a different decision that had to be overridden like the narrative monkeys like to spin. He wanted Hackett to have final say because he didn't like how 2016 went is the claim.
The difference is linden is speculating what would have happened... maybe he's right... you and so many others are telling a story that JB had to be overruled and the evidence is in the draft table video which it is clearly not. |

"I wasn't happy with the way our process was in 2016, and that was the first year Judd had taken over the reigns -- and I did not like how our meetings went. So in 2017 i really pushed hard to have Judd really step up and really run a robust type meeting -- in that we can really put our thoughts and feelings on the table. I really pushed hard in that management group to have Judd and his guys make the pick. I give Judd ... and give Ronny Delorme a lot credit as well .. they love this guy. Jim wasn't sold ... if Jim had his choice -- he would have probably taken a different player. But I really pushed to have these guys that were banging their fists on the table ... lets have these conversations .. because i really think we didn't do a good job in 2016 and I think it cost us -- well I know it cost us." |

I know many of you aren't fans of Beauvillier, but you may want to start watching who on the bottom 6 consistently bring the puck over the blue line, while maintaining possession.
Probably a reason why he usually plays more than Garland and Hoglander |

It makes Benning look worse than he already was, so I am going with it. |

You need to know the back story on the debate....
Still, nothing supports ManVan's claim that " JB had to be overruled and didnt know who EP was... and that the proof was in the draft table video". Thats why he fired the shot at me... now the argument has been reshaped to who JB wanted... which isnt what I argued at all.
The fact that as a group they decided on EP tells the opposite story that he had to be overruled. JB has final say and wanted someone else but in the end they agreed on EP collectively. I mean, how the hell does that translate to being overruled? 2016 was a mess so they reestablished how things were to be done.... and executed it as agreed. A collective decision.

I just finished saying maybe he was right about who JB would have picked if it were solely up to him... but that is still speculation. Not like he made up a bunch of stuff like you did.
Look, we argued whether your claims about the overruling was speculation or not and if there was proof like you claimed in the draft table video. There's no proof of any of this in the video or linden comments. Read my comments about the collective decision... it makes more sense if you care.
A collective decision is not a overruling. JB is the only one of the bunch that could overrule(aside from owner) and he went with the collective decision. |

Still going on about who wanted EP?
Wasn’t JB is obvious.
JB is gone fact.
Is JB a fathead? No doubt about it.
We all can ‘COLLECTIVELY’ agree the JB years of stealth tank did it’s job. So well and it fools all into thinking this season could still be a mirage. Lol |

Of all the pending UFA’s he’s the only one I’d resign. Calls out his team, backs it up physically. He had 11 goals last year on a crappy team. If the
Canucks want him it’s going to be a huge cost. - K-man25
No thanks, dumb, slow and a detriment to a good defensive team like the Canucks. Looks great on a crappy flames team though. |
