What were the shot attempts because in the 2nd i saw 3 or 4 extended forays in the Flyers zone where the Sharks registered no SOG |

Looks like current coaching staff is wearing thin and ineffective. |

Surely Frost could have helped in the faceoff area. What was wrong with Coots, was he just tired? |

The PP has cost the Flyers no less than 3 games this season. It is brutal watching it. No one gets to the net and the players appear lost. Fire the effing coach!! These are still professional hockey players and no PP should look this bad. Torts starting the 4th line last night and setting the team on their heals right off the bat is really starting to irk me. I'm not a Torts hater, but my patience with him is wearing thin. You have a team coming into the game with ZERO confidence and you should have taken it to them right off the hop! Torts start the 4th line and they get hemmed in immediately. The problem is that Torts has no one to answer to. |

After a two-game absence, Sean Couturier returned to the lineup from a lower-body injury. Despite having had four generally solid games -- not perfect by any means but solid -- on both sides of the puck, Morgan Frost returned to the scratch list.
So the joke earlier in the season about Pinto getting to play more games than Frost this year is looking more and more possible.
What are the odds he draws back in next game? 25%? |

Doesn’t seem like frost’s services are needed. This is a juggernaut. Do we have more goals on the pk than the pp still? Little hiccup here. Boys just need to grab their bootstraps and lunch pails a bit tighter |

I mean, he should have been in the lineup last night, but not sure he is coming to the rescue as far as faceoffs are concerned. This team needs two top notch defenseman(the penalty that Sanheim took for San jose's second goal was brutal) and two top notch centers before they can even think about competing again. |

Torts loves his 4th line as we have seen repeatedly. He might tell Brie to extend them, make them the faces of the franchise.

Despite the shot disparity the game was evenly played up until the Sharks potted their 2nd-goal. Then they just sat on it.

No….he’s right Couturier was absolutely brutal in the face of dot last night. They said he was 31% but I don’t remember him winning that much…including the last 3 with the net empty. |

The lack of push back the last two games is concerning. When you have Laughton on the ice for the extra attacker it’s like Torts is trying to send a message to some others…but Christ half the team was invisible….lots of shots but so many passed up from solid scoring positions. The Sharks had allowed 20 (frank)in goals in two games…they are as bad as I’ve seen as far as structure…yet the Flyers looked to mail it in. |

I don't dispute that Coots seemed off last night, but not sure that Frost is going to help with faceoffs based on his numbers so far this year. That being said...FREE FROST!

Frost was eaten alive at the dot by Giroux and by Staal. The last three games, he basically broke even. Last year, was 45%. Not good, not horrible.

I think if Frost is freed, his FO% would improve. I also think his playmaking would have helped. I still think Forester needs to sit. Even though he has been decent, I don't like Laughton at center
Of course this is my opinion.

The funny thing is, Jonesy and Torts aren't trying to tank. They're desperately hoping to sneak into the playoffs, and they think building the team's indentity around a 4th line featuring two guys over 30 is the way to do it.

The Flyers must stop spoiling the fan base!
What an absolute embarrassment. They pulled the same poop in 2017 when they lost at home to an 0-10-1 Coyotes team.
They never disappoint in being league laughing stocks. |
