Great cup win - Santo_44
It was a nice run.
I know you can't understand what it feels like but we enjoyed it despite running out of gas in the final against a monster Tampa team.

Right?
Always a sick burn when someone brags about losing better than you. Speaking of Burn where is that cowboy? I miss him |

Running out of gas is a great euphemism for reality finally setting in. |

We can understand. We have seen the Jays and Raps and TFC win championships. What we don't do is brag about the years any of the teams didn't win a championship. |

Right, let's take away all the credit of a team that eliminated Toronto, Winnipeg and Vegas.
But whatever helps you sleep better at night man.

This is the response I got when I informed a seller that his obviously-terrestrial, $10k rock was not a meteorite as claimed.

The point isn't to almost win a cup but yes, it helps me sleep at night that I don't celebrate failure and fluke. |

We are just pissed off because you said that playoff runs are fun.
No Leafs fan would ever say that. |

I have a good buddy who is a Habs fan.
He doesn't even watch them anymore, he watches the Leafs as much as me and hopes for them to lose
He has really hated their recent early draft picks, for good reason. |

Like who? Slaf and Reinbacher?
I'd wait a few years before judging them.

Slaf I seriously have only seen a few habs fans that actually have hope for this guy, at this point it is gravy if he turns into a productive player.
Its early on Reinbacher yes, not the best start for him and there were many better picks on the table. |

I've said this before that I was on the "draft Wright" boat in 2022.
But I'll wait a few years until judging either picks. Maybe you turn out to be right, maybe you won't.
