I think that got lost in translation somehow but side note I met Binnington at a goalie camp before he was an Stanley Cup winner - super nice and personable guy. Definitely the polar opposite of what you see on the ice but it's entirely possible the sudden success and fame after the cup win changed him into a very different person.

His on ice stupidity is just next level and screams of someone with anger issues.
