Today is the biggest US travel day, so biggest headlines, biggest disruption.

And some of the reports are saying all the Ont-WNY bridges are closed.

That's a lot of halted commerce.

Looks / sounds like they are going to close all border crossings in the area or have at this time. Precautionary measure I'm sure but this will be a total mess for anyone trying to go to/from the US / Canada for awhile I would think.

100 years ago, a friend invited us up to his cottage. Can't remember where it was, but up the 400 past Barrie.

We went up on the Friday night, as did most couples.

But one S-M-R-T couple decided they didn't want to fight traffic Friday night, so they opted to get up early Saturday morning and drive up.

Except it was EdgeFest at Molson Park.

I can't remember the actual stats, but let's just say it was about 5-6 hours for what took all of us under 3 on the Friday night.

I still think of that every time I pass by where Molson Park used to be.

95% of professional truckers never did, it was just a tiny unhinged minority giving real, sensible truckers a bad name. The real truckers stood tall and kept working when it was needed most.
