McMann being sent down means Reaves is once again the 12th forward. I’m sure that’s going to go over well lol.

Timmins needs to be activated.

Bobby McMann is all fine and dandy but it was always going to be him going down once Timmins was ready.

Oh I know, but I also know the hatred for Reaves is way over the top for some people. There is going to be complaints about this, not from me, but there will be a few lol

I really like Timmons and believe that if he can stay in the lineup that’s he is on the verge of busting out.

I'm fine with it, but I think the surgeons need to get more creative. Their work seems to have stagnated.

Go nuts!

I’d like to speak to the manager.

Would prefer someone other than Reaves but it’s not realistic for him to stay in the press box.

14 games played.

No goals.

No assists.

On the ice for 0 goals for.

On the ice for 11 goals against.

His +/- is -11. The next worse Leaf forward is -4.

Please tell me why anyone would want this guy back in the lineup.

Sorry, please tell me why any Leafs fan would want him back in the lineup, because I'm sure opposing fans would love to see him taking up a spot in the lineup.

Oh I get it, but they only have 12 forwards in the lineup and 6 d men with Timmins still on LTIR. Safe bet they’re seeing him off of it by the next game hence the need for the space. I’m genuinely curious is they’re hoping to let his first game back to be the one against Chicago.

My guess is that Klingberg is going to Robidas Island on LTIR shortly.

Gives them the flexibility to add a few bodies - at least until they sign Kane.

Too bad leafs fans don’t call the shot.

Want to know why? It’s because the leafs currently only have 12 forwards now and he’s one of them.

Also stop blaming him for every goal the 4th line allowed while he was on the ice, seriously Wedgie you’re far smarter than that.

Treliving isn’t obviously sticking it out with him like it or not.

4 million out, and 4 million in.

That looks about right.

Please explain why his +/- is much worse than every other linemate he has played with, with much less ice time.

Not your guess, your hope.

If your belief is true why were players sent down if they’re just planning on dumping him onto the LTIR? They wouldn’t have had to do that if this was their game plan.

Because the 4th line he played on was a joke. He didn’t get a decent defensive C since Kampf was on the third line and he played when the leafs D was garbage.

But of course it’s the wingers fault.

You have nothing but biased hatred for the guy so I know you won’t change your perspective, too bad you don’t run the leafs and you’ll just have to deal with it.

I just want to see him fight some dudes and throw some beastly hits. Wish we could have 13 forwards 6 D. I don't think he's as bad as the numbers say, and can find a fit and right tempo for his game but he sure is looking more and more like he's at the end of his NHL road as far as a team going for a cup is concerned. I've not fully given up but don't have much hope either.

If he can focus on just playing for now and worry about fighting and hitting when the time is right, and not suffer Clarkson syndrome when he's on the ice where he needs to always prove his toughness and win the fans and his team over all the time, he could be of use through the long season.

I don't hate Reaves.

I hate that he has nothing to contribute to the team, yet he's sometimes put in the line-up.

Leafs are 3-0 without him.

There was some crazy stat rattling around the internet the other day about how the Leafs are killing it whenever Reaves and Klingberg are off the ice.

I can't understand how you have such loyalty towards a guy who has been a Leaf for 14 games and hasn't done a damn thing.

I don't hate him - but why do you love him in such a blind fashion? What does he contribute to the team?

Fun fact:

The Toronto Maple Leafs are first in the league in hits at home (by a large margin).

The Toronto Maple Leafs are 26th in the league in hits away.

It's a garbage stat.

I don’t love him at all, but I’m not willing to claim I know more than a professional NHL GM like nearly everyone else on this site.

The leafs GM is hanging onto him, could have sent him down and he would have made enough cap space for Timmins, but that is not what Treliving decided to do for whatever his reason is.

Hes a 4th liner on a new team who was trying to do too much during a time when the leafs were playing like crap. He was misused and had linemates who werent playing so well either.
The leafs being 3-0 without him in the line up means nothing....heck the leafs have a winning record without matthews in the line up.
I just find difficult to judge him on 13 or so games....i mean i wasnt expecting much but ya gotta give him a chance to succeed.
Imo.
