Karine Hains: In Hainsight: Too Little too Late The Canadiens fought their way back into last night’s game, but the Wings got the last laugh with a goal and a dance in overtime.

Close, but no cigar. I thought the Wings were going to hand the game to ya, but got lucky to get to O.T.

I think Cole's shoulder is still hindering him. Also, he has been playing with Dvorak for a while now, which isn't really a confidence booster.

I remember reading an article from Basu where he interviewed an expert saying it takes about 2 years for the shoulder to be 100%.

He probably feels fine (no pain) but most likely still hasn't found all his mobility in his shoulder.

Anderson's shoulders sure didn't seem to be an issue at all the other night when he was punching an opponent in the face.

perhaps he experiences pain only when he has an opportunity to score a goal... that would definitely suck, poor guy.

Canadiens rebuild revolve around waiting for knees and shoulders to fully recover in 2026.

the exact recipe is a well-kept secret but the tonic mainly consists of Molson Ex, with a bit of leech urine, for flavor.

so who are our best players after 20 games?
not an easy question.
Monty, mention honorable à Primeau
Guhle, mention honorable pour Barron
Gallagher, Anderson (yes yes, even avec pas de but).... that's about it

not a lot of amazing stand-out performances for sure but I do like how Slaf's game is steadily evolving, a higher point production would be nice but he's handling himself pretty well and is on quite an interesting learning curve.

what sucks is that there would surely be a lot more mentions if the team had been healthy, having your best players on the ice usually makes those around them better.
