last night showed just how valuable K'Andre Miller is, and how badly he was missed when they played at MSG

Gustafsson is outstanding in his role as 5th defenseman, like he was like night, but pressed into bigger role, he's going to struggle like he did at MSG

but Miller is so good as keeping the puck moving and just never ever fatigues no matter how long the shift is, massive minutes played last night

Was an awesome game to be at, my son loved it and started a Let's Go Rangers chant in the last minute of the game. I wish I knew how to post videos from my phone as we got to go right beside the dressing room before the 2nd period and the players were giving him and my niece and nephew fist bumps before going onto the ice. And my son got a puck from Trocheck during the warmup.

Amazing!

Gretzky waved at me during warmups when I went to a game in Hartford 30 years ago and I’ll never forget it. Rangers players seem to always acknowledge the kids as shown with Cuylle last night, love to see it.

Schneider had his best game of the season last night, he seemed to be all over the ice. He hasn’t been awful or anything, but just quiet most of the season offensively so that was a nice thing to see. He has to keep it up because that offense will help them 5 on 5

Wheeler is definitely improving on that line and making more plays. Can he hold up all season is the question tho.

I think shesty needs to play more and more now. Hes finally looking like last season and he’s at his best when he’s playing more games. He gets in a rhythm that way. Hes been great the last few starts. Between Quick playing lights out, and getting banged up it’s been tough for him to find that rhythm imo

Fun season continues, it’s really enjoyable watching Ranger hockey this year this metro is tough they need to stay ahead of everyone and win it.

Kind of disagree. Quick needs to keep playing. Dude has been magnificent. Shesty needs most of the starts but Quick needs to get in as much as possible

I'm not saying over use him, but keep him fresh. I think Quick every 4th-5th game wouldn't be unreasonable.

If Quick starts vs the Sabres like Jim suggested, it will be his first start in 4 games. With him last beating the Ducks. Falls right in line with what you're suggesting.

also gives Igor off the 2nd half of the B2B.

Yup. I'm good with Quick getting in about 25 games this year. Shesty has been a little off, but looked great the last 2. Hopefully this is more of the Shesty we are used to going forward.

Yea that’s all I’m saying really. It also seems like Quick gets most of the cakewalk opponents. Quick gets b2b and game a week is fine, he is 37 which is a bit concerning. 3 games Shesty, 1 quick, 3 games Shesty 1 quick, etc. He needs x amount games in a row is kind of what I mean

My point is we need Shesty as his best come April and he really hasn’t looked like that goalie we need for the playoffs. But he looks to be turning it on that way now, thank jesus. His rebound control has been terrific the last two games. Smothering the puck which he hasn’t been doing

Yeah, I thought you meant like Hank used to do, in your previous comment 70-72 game seasons. That was nuts.

Edit: That's fair, but I would also gladly take him back for a run this year.
