Fantilli should remain as 1C even when Jenner and Roslovic come back. He's holding his own, not over his head. Vincent needs to take a look at how Carolina is handling it's Captain (Jordan Staal). He's the 3C and doing well. Same should be done with Jenner - move to 3W, playing PK, and in front of the net on the PP.
Yes, Roslovic has the skills to maybe stay as 1C, but he's way too inconsistent, and MIA for too many games. I think he's trade bait, latest at the TDL - if not before. Same could happen with Laine at the TDL - if not before. Sure, he could be a 40 goal scorer, but we haven't seen too much of that capability. In the last 2 seasons he's been close to a PPG player - when he plays. In both those seasons he has missed over 25 games. I just wonder how he fits in with this team. He has a talent/skill, now we have to figure out the best way to tap it. |
