Fantasy: some young center becomes disgruntled and demands a trade (Tage Thompson type) and the Flyers acquire him for Frost, The Panthers 1st and their own which ends up in the low 20’s due to playoff success. They then unite this guy with Cutter in the final few games of the season and the future looks bright!

Absolutely no on both Kadri and Gaudreau. Gaudreau's OT winner the other night was pretty dope but he's far too pricey for a 1st line winger. Way too much term as well. Kadri's not even a 1st liner IMO but he's definitely getting paid like one. Unless the Flyers are solidified with at the least a home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs I think they should try and be sellers to some extent, not gutting the core like Hart, Konecny, or Sanheim. Players like Laughton, Seeler, and Walker, I'd absolutely consider to add picks and prospects if possible. The current goalie market prices are insane (which is why I believe not moving Hart is actually the smart play here) with teams like Carolina, Edmonton, and Toronto clearly struggling to find actual NHL calibre goaltenders. If I'm Briere, I'm staying the course with the current tandem of Ersson and Hart.

Just saw a little bit of Bellemare on nasty knuckles. This is going to come to the surprise of nobody in here but I didn’t appreciate him while he was here. I think it had more to do with Hakstol over playing him and Vandevalde together. I hated Vandevalde and some nights it felt like he never left the ice. Definitely miss Bellemare. If memory serves, he flipped me a puck once.

Didn’t spent all summer basically shaming Ivan Provorov for not wearing a rainbow sweater last season during a warm up game to support gay pride because it’s against his religion.
