Am I the only one who wants to see the Molson Cup going to Slaf sooner than later? He isn't lighting up the scoreboard, but it's him driving a hell of a lot of the plays leading to important goals. Just sayin'.

Kid is doing the right things, more often than not, leading to offence.

Not only the assist on the Suzuki goal, but started the defensive play that lead to the Harris goal.

Really enjoying his play the last 6+ weeks.

don't tell anyone, but for the past few weeks.... they've played a lot better.
too soon to say if it's for good or just a short stint, but we used to see them stuck in their zone, allowing 40+ SOG per game.
not in the past few games. they limited SOG againts to 30. big big improvement. they didn't win more games, but that is still noticable.

I really don't get the hate.
Monty is just as good as many of the goalies who won the cup the past few years.
imagine him playing behind a really good team like Vegas, or Colorado, or Los Angeles, or Carolina...
