If Cutter really didn't want to be in Philly and Drysdale can show signs of a top pair D...then yeah no brainer for Philly.

I liked Cutter's potential, but if the Flyers can strengthen the backend with another young RHD that's a great move. Plus an early 2nd rounder?

Wow, Briere just confirmed it! He informed the Flyers only a few months after being drafted he did not want to play for the Flyers, after telling the Flyers at the draft he was made to be a Flyer.

Can't blame the Flyers here. They treat their players really, really well. I can't see how they did anything wrong to this kid, unless their insistence he play center had anything to do with this?

I'll tell you what, Gauthier is going to hate coming to Philly to play. Never played a game in the NHL and thinks he's Eric Lindros. I'm going to wear my Flyers jersey at the next BC game and boo him every time he touches the puck. I would love to get more of you up here and do the same

Overshadowed by the big trade but there is a game going on. How about the play by Zamula on the PP? Offense is about deception. Especially on the PP. The Flyers have very little of it. Especially on the PP. Zamula challenges the Pkers at the top, makes one go down to block a shot that isn't taken. Captures the eyes of the goaltender and then passes to Tippett on the wing, who has basically an empty net. Great work by Zamula.

He has been a God send to this awful PP. It seems to have also given him confidence in other areas of his game.
He has been noticeable in more of the good ways these last few games.
York has as well, imo. He's gone unappreciated and under the radar, imo

Someone has to sit with Drysdale coming in. On one hand I like Ristolainen at even strength. On the other hand Zamula is young and seems to have something going on the power play. I think that top pair might get broken up. Maybe Sanheim off the right side?
