All you need to know about Jamie is that as a rookie his most frequent matchups came against all the top lines…

He held his own against MacKinnon / Landeskog and Raantannen..

He jumps into plays and easily gets back.. no problem… and he can play with anyone and make them better …

And you guys score a 2nd rounder -

Is this how the majority of Ducks fans are feeling?

I like this idea. Keep stockpiling. If there’s an opportunity to flip a tk or someone else for an overpay.

Yeah, Seeler and/or Walker will get them more draft capital. I know nothing about Drysdale. ANA has been as awful as the Flyers the last couple of seasons, who knows how Drysdale was developed.

I'm sad I have to agree with you.

It's a start for you. If you do it more, you'll be on the right side of things more.

Top pairing RHD, especially 21 year old ones with over 100 games in the NHL, are nearly impossible to acquire unless you draft them. Drysdale is a high end talent. With a good structure, a supporting cast, and a stable team around him, he might very well reach that star potential he’s capable of. If anyone gets to watch some of these west coast games, you know Drysdale has significant talent. If you think Zamula has helped the PP wait til you see Drysdale. While I’m not thrilled with the deception by the team, and I really liked what I’ve read and seen of Cutter, I love this trade at the moment.

Hey
@AnaheimDucks
don't stalk Cutter like the Flyers. Let him play a 3rd year at BC and he's yours 😂

If that’s true, that would be a shame they then drafted Bonk. Could have had our guy Gabe Perreault.
- Laceemup88

pretty sure briere didnt know he was going to get drysdale even if he thought he had to move cutter. Guessing he tried to smooth things over with cutter, and he wasnt biting so had to move on

I think in this case, where there is smoke there could be fire.

If this guy looked up to Hayes as a mentor I think it's a 5 alarm fire!!

Still could be pretty high. It's a good asset.
- MJL

It could be, or it could be middle of the pack. With Gauthier coming in, playing with Zegras..they could be much improved.
Just trying to be realistic.

I personally think TK gets re-signed now, but if they trade him then DB at least has some leverage not having to beg for a young stud dman.

Dan Hilferty was great on Snow the Goalie during the 2nd intermission. He explained the situation very nicely and is very believable.

The biggest factor here is Tort, doesn’t sound like Drysdale plays a Torts style game. Will he allow him to play
- ClaudeFather

I think drysdale has been a leader everywhere he has gone, i think torts will like him

In my opinion, in their eyes, they were always going to be re-signing Konecny.

All for kids using any leverage they have and not automatically swearing fealty to the teams that draft them... but if Danny is to be believed Cutter just basically ghosted them... that's kinda sus on his part.

It's going to be a high 2nd round pick in a much deeper draft. Anaheim can score all they want, they can't play defense.

It is quite remarkable how quiet they kept this whole thing for what turns out to be a pretty loooong time.

Bundy and ASF saying Kevin Hayes had a hand in poisoning Gauthier.
