That’s complete nonsense. No college kid or their family is following the day to day of an NHL team before they sign nor is Morgan Frost a household name that anyone would even care. Besides Gauthier apparently made his decision before this season so the Morgan Frost situation hadn’t even occurred yet.

1) if they knew this in May a month or 2 before draft that’s a horrible use of capital. Could’ve traded him there. Or at the least that means you have had this problem for 7+ months and the best you could do is drysdale and a 2nd in 2025.

Not that drysale is necessary bad but that seems awfully underwhelming package for a player coming off jr’s mvp etc and reeks of desperation move.

I really don't think Cutter's value changed that much from the beginning of the year, even with WJC. The Flyers got a 21 year old RHD, high draft pick, with potential top pair...and got a 2nd to boot. I don't think that would be cheap any time of year.

Newport Beach is a pretty bad ass place to live….

I really thought they reached drafting Cutter but his numbers in college shut me up quick. I think they got pretty solid value in this deal. Used to seeing the Flyers being the one sending a pick the other way so often.

I haven’t watched the team much this season which is not something I was not planning on. The last few seasons have really worn me out on the sport I love.

You can pretty much ask any players that’s ever played for the ducks…
