I do like the idea of immediately getting a solid d prospect that can be in the lineup right away and they desperately need a pp qb. If he can be a viable top 4 d then it’s probably a good trade.

We won t know the winner of this trade for years. I thought they would take a stab in free agency next summer to acquire a top pair Dman. This should allow them to eventually move Sanheim back to the left. Now I think they dabble in free agency to get a center.

The question is does Torts move Sanheim back to the left? I could be wrong, but I don't think Sanheim has played the right side this much in his career and is having a career year...

A career year offensively but not good defensively overall. The top pair has bled goals. Not a legit top pairing.

Anyone, this was one of those games where the Flyers through away the structure to play pond hockey, and once again got schooled that they are not good enough to play pond hockey.

Not sure the Ducks front office is much of an improvement over the Flyers for him.

I do love that Danny aired everything out now that the kid is gone. I think he just sent a strong message/set a tone that any prospects/agents that don’t want to be here better be ready to answer for it.
