Why? We have to look at this and digest it. Talking about a RH shot defenseman that was drafted 6th overall. - MJL
Apparently he’s only a one way player but I’ll have to take a closer look. |

One of Drysdale or York has to be the next Kinmo Timonen. - roenick97
I'll tell you what, put Zamula on that list, he is looking great so far this season. |

that is fat out embarrassing for the fryers, if true. Pathetic for a once proud organization. - hello it's me 2050

this does not make any sense .. I am highly skeptical he felt this way. What rational reason could a 19 year old player not want to the play for any NHl franchise. - jd250
He grew up a Pens fan. Not his fault your scouts didn't do their homework. |

Michkov not coming over if he has to play for Philadelphia. Flyers looking to move Michkov for Barrett Hayton in Arizona. - roenick97
Didn't Michkov tell Arizona he wasn't playing for them, hence why they passed on him in the draft? |

[quote=MBFlyerfan] I'm not asking you directly. I'm asking in general. If this kid is so effing good why can't he get on the ice for a bad team? WTF!! Oh, and phuck Cutter if he didn't want to play in Philly. Another phuckin diva athlete. GTFO!! I hope someone crosschecks you in the face your first game in Philly.

You know, Gauthier did skip Flyers camp this year with no real explanation other than he was tired. Perhaps this was a sign? |

My God, he's 21 years old playing the toughest position in hockey. I think MJL is right, we need time to get all the facts and digest this. Briere going to speak at the 1st intermission. - jd250
Good. I want to hear from him. Issue I see here is that last two years he’s seemed to be hurt. Or at least hasn’t played a lot. |

Drysdale, 21 (4/8/02), was selected by the Ducks in the first round, sixth overall, of the 2020 NHL Draft. He owns five points (1-4=5) in 10 games with Anaheim this season. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound native of Toronto, Ontario, has 45 points (8-37=45) in 123 games in four seasons with the Ducks (2020-24). He missed majority of the 2022-23 campaign due to a torn labrum in his left shoulder. The right-shot blueliner set career highs in goals (4), assists (28) and points (32) in 81 games during the 2021-22 season. He ranked second among all NHL rookie defensemen in 2021-22 in points, assists, shots (137) and games while he became one of four rookie defensemen in Ducks history to record 30-or-more points. He tallied two points (1-1=2) in his NHL debut on March 18, 2021 vs. ARI. He became the third defenseman in NHL history to record multiple points in his NHL debut at age 18-or-younger while his first NHL goal marked only the fourth time in NHL history an 18-year-old scored a goal in his NHL debut. |

I'm mostly just being an ass. I know Michov reportedly told teams he wouldn't transfer for them. As much as I hate Philly, they are a top tier organization so no idea why he, or any other player, wouldn't play for them. Arizona I can fully understand. |

Well, Jonesy wasn t kidding about building the blueline, they certainly have no center depth. Long term blueline - Drysdale. York, Sanheim, Zamula, and I believe Andrae.

it's a chore being a fan of this franchise.
When is the last time a drafted player refused to play for a team? |
