I mean, do you feel that Fox is immature and what he did reflected poorly on him? Because that's exactly how he ended up on the Rangers. In fact, he exercised even more control over the Hurricanes than Gauthier did to the Flyers. Circumstances were a bit different, in that he was about to be a UFA, but he picked the exact team he wanted to go to.

It doesn't have to be replaced.
Take the door off the hinge, inject wood glue into the two pieces (best wood glue is titebond II).it may be advisable to finish the crack but obviously can't see it under the tape.
Once glue is applied, clamp the door and remove excess wood glue from the front with a wet rag
Wait 24hours, remove clamp, remount door

The glued wood will be stronger than the original wood.
I broke the headstock off a bass and brought it to work which happened to be a cabinet shop. We glued it up, puttied the missing chunks and finished it. Still have that bass nearly 40 years later! |

The glued wood will be stronger than the original wood.
