It’s a much less scale as far as the player most likely, but it’s ironic how Gauthier pulled an Eric Lindros. What goes around comes around I guess

Othmann sent down and someone else is getting called up
- picklerick

Oh well, rather he gets to play a ton of minutes in Hartford.

Anisimov maybe? No idea where he’s been for 10 years but I don’t see what better options we have unless Berard or Sykora get a look.

I couldn’t possibly care less about history or context or anything. This happening to Philadelphia is hilarious and awesome and cutter is a national hero who now gets to live it up in SoCal

Hmm that’s interesting. Artie. He knows the NHL at least.

It’s probably just because Kakko is coming back tho (why he was sent down). He must be ready to play

Could Anisimov be any worse than Bonino? I think Sergei Nemchinov could potentially be better

Whoever brought up trading for zegras and whoever has been advocating for trading Schneider

Here’s a crazy idea:

Chytil (basically a throw in), Schneider, Goodrow, 1st rounder, prospect? Goodrow has to agree

For

Zegras, Gudas ($1.5m retained for 3 years)

Kreider Mika Kakko
Bread Trocheck Laf
Cuylle Zegras wheeler/literally anyone
Bonino/pitlick/vesey/jbrod

Lindgren Fox
K’Andre Trouba
Gus Gudas

What if the rangers franked with Othmann’s ego calling him up, benching him and then sending him back down. Why it never made sense unless they were fully committed to using him

Maybe it was just to get him a cup of coffee up here. It was just strange. The first game he looked great and had 6 shots on net ffs. And then he barely played. I don’t get it either

ultimately the way we get out of this is that the guys who are here, making a whole lot of money, who we know aren't going anywhere, need to play a lot better than they've been playing the last month.

My favorite is people complaining about laffy not scoring goals but on pace for 55-60 points and their 3rd best fwd all year. Mika and kreider not being able to lift a line themselves is sad for the cash they make

Laf is the brightest spot of the season considering how meh he looked for a couple years. It’s taken some time but he legit looks like a 1OA guy now and will only get better. At least we have that if this year goes nowhere
Once he supplants probably Kreider on PP1, his numbers will look magnifique.’ Oui Oui

And if Kakko could at least get to skating like Laf does now, we could have something with him too
