I wonder if the Rangers were one of the 18 teams, and what the demand was from the Flyers? - TommyGTrain
If a young RHD was their need… probably Schneider & a 2nd, Id expand on the trade, add to it and ask for Walker in return also. |

I 100% agree with him though. F this entitled kid and all the entitled kids like him. Fox pulled the same nonsense and so did Vesey. - nyrangers9479
all I care about is the Rangers, and more power to any young player that forces his way onto the Rangers
keep em coming

Leafs:
"Going into the 2024-25 season, the Leafs will have $54.15 million allocated towards five players in Auston Matthews, Nylander, Mitch Marner, John Tavares, and Morgan Rielly. All five have no movement clauses"
man, that's wild stuff |

Gotta think we likely were, given our history scooping up those types of players |

Does zegras have any jam at all though? He seems like a highly skilled, averagely sized, hockey player that plays centre. Not exactly what we need on this team
Guess we're at the point where we gotta take what we can get I guess |

It really does feel like these next 23 games will dictate the direction Drury goes at the deadline. I don't think it's a given he spends a ton to load up this year if we're still scuffling along playing 500 hockey by late Feb early March |

Idk. I think he’s under alot of pressure this year (from Dolan). Especially after the start. Last year probably has Dolan still angry. I think something major happens
Frankly I think they need it 🤷🏻♂️ |

Sure, there's always pressure to win in NY. But if we are playing like this in late Feb, I can't see Drury thinking that a major roster reshaping at the TDL will somehow wake us up and make us cup contenders. That's never how the cup is won |

I dunno, from what I've heard of him he's obviously highly skilled with his trick shot goals and stuff, but the knock on him is he's not a very hard player. Clearly there's a reason why he's a young centre with two 60 pt seasons, yet Anaheim is still making him available |

Think about what they’ve been playing with tho. You got basically 4-5 AHL level guys playing since Chytil went down 10 games into the season, and Kakko. And Fox. They’ve had their fair share of adversity. They got moxy. I don’t think there is a chance in hell they punt the season (for lack of a better word) |

Yeah fair, the adversity has been real this season. All things considered, we're in a better spot in the standings right now than I would have guessed before the season began. But the slow decline can't continue up to late Feb and have Drury think we honestly have a shot at winning, if only we made 3 or 4 deadline deals to reshape the roster. That's all I'm saying.
Highly doubt that he will "punt" on the season, but if we drop to a wildcard spot by then, it's tough to see him going all-in either. |

They have most pieces you need to win imo. Some are hurt, but some we need. 3C we won’t win it without. It’s a must. Chytil or someone else. Chytil is just too risky for my liking (counting on him I mean). We need a good 3rd line over everything else, it’s clear as day
Vancouver show you that. They actually 4 REALLY good lines. And they have their best two centers playing together. Kuzmenko has really struggled for them, he is about only guy who has |
